I'm posting this in a new thread so it does not go lost. As you will of just heard the Demolisher and Hellhound are on advance order. I hear you cry "Bloodthirster there's already a thread abou this " Well I'm just going to ask you to look again and tell me what on Earth you think that flying building is in the background of both boxes. Gw told us a while ago they had a secret terrain project related to planetstrike, but nothing like we had ever seen before. Well I ask you could this be it hidden in plain sight

That is interesting, considering each has a different placement of the building. Good catch.

Speculation?

Imperial Landers given the rocket trail/Planetstrike connection?

IG version of the Monolith.

JohnHwangDD - The 40k YMDC stuff is almost entirely TFG-manufactured BS.
Uriels_flame - IF All Chaos SM can be in one codex, ALL SM should be in One Codex.
Sourclams - Looks like a mix of Planetstrike, 40k, and Apocolypse rules. There's nothing to be done here.

Looks like those new dropable buildings for planet strike. Although that is a very good catch, didn't see it the first time.

Deepstriking defensive guns? ( DoW placement? )

$50 for a hellhound? That is ridiculous! Games workshop pisses me off.

That building was also in the background of the Cadian command squad boxed set.

So don't buy it direct from GW. Go somewhere with a discount, or content yourself with simply not purchasing it.

So it is Brook M, here's hoping it's true. There's supposed to be a strategem for it according to news ,from Warseer, from a while ago but no rumours about a kit for it.

It's probably a studio model, a building prototype or something conceived through photosoup.

What's wrong with the Arvus anyway? Is this an attempt to gothicify the feth out of 40k again with "creepy" buildings that can be dropped from orbiting vessels? I'd much rather like to see a Tetrarch Heavy Lander.

Didn't someone mention a 'Drop bastion' in one of the threads about Planetstrike?

Seems to be the same background image, just flipped horizontally on one box.

I'd say the problem with the Arvus is...
It's a lighter. It has a tiny carrying capacity, on par with a Valkyrie. It's not meant for real frontline combat, but for supply runs and the like.

I too, though, would like to see a heavy lander, on par with the Orca

It's also in the background of the Cadian squad boxed set.

I'm sure it will see release but it looks kind of boxy and lame. I would rather convert something better than that.

Arnt those the transport rockets from DOW?

They attach them onto crates and drop them off from orbit.

Actually, the building looks a lot like those of the Sisters of Battle from Soulstorm, but with rockets attached to them.

Just in case anyone's still in doubt

With the second image flipped horizontally, it's clear they're the same background image:

It's just a painting. Not a new building model.
