Genius plan.. Now to sort out distribution in major newsagents!

@Haigus - My GCSE science is a bit rusty - Ill think I will let Radoni corporation or whoever manufactures the Republics guns worry about the science and just make guns that look cool

@shasolenzabi - correct, its a folding pistol on a wrist RIS rail. The operator can either remove it and unfold it to use as you would a regular pistol, or unfold and fire the weapon while still RIS mounted, using small controls in their glove. - you dont want to take a right hook from this guy thats for sure!

You cannot see from this angle, but the other wrist has a RIS with folding combat knife.

Just over 24 hours to go now - however just to let people know, we are not doing "early bird" pledges, so if you are not able to be on a computer the moment the project is live, don't worry - you will not lose out - everyone gets the same awesome pledge options!

Here is the miniature we have chosen as our Kickstarter Exclusive -

Like many Upworlders, Ellenor Renard whiled away her seemingly endless youth in a series of pursuits, learning a variety of skills to perfection before moving on to the next. Unlike her fellows, however, she preferred to indulge in all forms of combat, ancient and modern, rather than the more socially acceptable pastimes of a bored up-tier debutante. Now, Ellenor puts her skills to the test, fighting for the Unity Council as a special operative. Her wealth affords her the greatest in Afterlife care, instilling in her a near-disregard for death, while her prodigious skill with a blade has already earned her almost legendary status.

Im really excited for the launch tommorow and the next few weeks!

We are aiming for 8pm launch UK time, so that will be anywhere from 12 noon to 4pm depending on where you are in the US.

And thanks!

Ps. The guy in the picture is Ephraim Bolivar, Chief Engineer at CRANE corporation. CRANE, along with Krono-Tech and a few others, forms the main block of corporate support for the Unity Council, and Ephraim is responsible for the development of many of the weapons in used by Unity Council military forces.

Whoa, agreed! Totally pledged, and looking forward to the add-on price list which he said he'll post tomorrow:

Anvil Industry wrote:Creator Anvil Industry 1 minute ago
Andrew - Just total up all the Add-Ons you want. We will be putting up a price list tommorow, and adding to it throughout the Kickstarter.
UK P+P is included, £3 flat rate for everyone else.

Also, if anyone missed it, this is now live, of course!

That is a nice touch! and knife on the other hand, practical as the rest of the soldiers looks loaded with gear and other equipment. You are making me drool to start another faction or more of my already large army!

Yep, We want to do this properly, and launching a game is a significant undertaking, so no point asking for an unrealistically small amount of cash.

How big are the CRANE robots? What base size are we talking? From their armament, they look large, but not huge. Little hard to tell though without any kind of scale shot.

Hi Haighus,

They are approximately 39mm tall.

If you have an Ajax Mech, they are a bit taller and a fair bit skinnier (as no need to fit a human inside)

I will post some scale shots up of everything together once we have more renders and poses.

Cheers

Oh man...

I am so psyched up about this KS.

The Pulse Mech and Wardrones especially - They are absolutely stunning.

Not to crazy about the Hex-armor - look ok on the body, but not on helmet IMO.. oh well, one can always convert them

@Anvil: Great work there Joel, looking forward to more renders, addon and stretchgoals!

Thanks people!

The KS is going well so far! I will try to do an update at least every day.

@Jehan - Glad you like them. no plans to add combat weapons - Swords are cool, and there will be a few here and there, but Im trying to keep most units realistic to the near-future sci-fi concept.

Here is a colour scheme Dwartist came up with for the Ajax, which I like a lot - http://dwartist.blogspot.co.uk/2014_02_01_archive.html

He has painted up quite a few of our figures to a very high standard!

@Barzam - thanks! We will do our best to get the figures completed and shipped asap!

@Treadheadz - Glad you like them - I can see why hex armour on the helmet isnt quite as realistic (no need for it to flex) but I wanted to continue the theme a bit - it would probably be quite easy to fill the gaps between the hexs with putty.
