I have always wanted to do a IG Tallarn styled force, but as you all know the models are not to crash hot and Forgeworld do not have a conversion kit for them. Also what paint scheme would you use to paint their tanks and armor?

You could use basic cadian torso/legs for it.

You'd need some bare heads (or even the catachan bandanna wearers).

And lots of Greenstuff. For the headwraps, the sleeves and the puttees (boot wrappings).

As for the tanks, Iyanden Darksun/Desert Yellow with white markings.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I commented on a similar topic a while back. Basically it boils down to, i've only ever seen it done well once:

In a nutshell, It's gonna take a bit of greenstuff...

it will take a lot of greenstuff and to that end it could be expensive if your not used to working with it all. I would first just glue the torso and heads together for the army then get to work on them. This way once you build up the rest of the model it will be a much easier time working the arms around it then messing up and such and wasting your time and money. Instead if greenstuff and if you are on a budget their is a would epoxy putty that is a little grainy but all around solid that you can get the same amount that you would froma tube of green stuff for much much less. Tube of green stuff $12.00 tube of the wood epoxy $1.75. You can find it at wal mart or fred meyers. The only major downside is it smells well like poop.Wash your hands well afterwards cause well I mean IT SMELLLSSSSS, but for themoney you save it's worth it.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
