You could try endtransmission's write up of the Forgeworld Tank Masterclass for starters. You can even look at my tank from the event - though apparently I didn't feel the need to elaborate on endtransmission's efforts

There's probably a better article around here somewhere...

Yes LDD, I'll check that too

So, I had a goal for tonight, to finish the orange metal on my Nob Trike with chipping and everything that go with It, well I made It, here are the pics.
I overdone the weathering chipping of the paint because the bikerz are really fast and close to the ground , C&C always welcome

I don't think i've posted here yet, how odd

The weathering on the red is good but what stands out for me is all the freehand checks, very nice. I did notice though that you have static grass on some of the models (as opposed to the base). Hopefully the models were dry when you based them and the excess will just brush off.

Hi Guys!

Here's the 6th bike for my fast mob, It's a WIP at the moment and I'd like a suggestion, curved high handlebar or standard one?
The dakka makers for this will be put in front of the handlebar

Curved, high handlebar - why not?

Only thing I'm not liking at the moment is the kink in the forward struts (your plasticard additions don't follow the line of the plastic above) *If* you want to fix that, and keep the length of the forward struts, you just need to angle the back of the bike up more

LDD: You should do something then 'cause I'm not stopping and I wanna see where You gonna bring the Choppa

That is the best look I feel, mind you a conversion will be needed for the riders arms

The great thing about Orks - you can get away with one or no hands on the handle bars

I think you need at least one hand holding on, plus I would like to see both holding on to finish the look with style

Yes Arakasi, that's a "gud fing"!

Here the almost finished product, need to fill some gaps with GS and that's It!
The harm on the handlebar is the chain wielding one from the bikerz blister with the hand that should be used for the handle.
C&C are welcome as usual.

Nice job on the bike and good use of parts looking good, the only gripe is the handle bars could have been a little more in line with the wheel support arms IMO but still looks great.

Is that a kromlech Torsos I see there

Just checked out some pics of choppers and yours is correct so I stand corrected handle bars are fine.

I'm really thinking to change the harm with the weapon and to follow Your suggestion to give two handlebar hands!

This is brilliant stuff

And a suggestion for the 7th bike... Why not 2 guns, 1 in each hand, and then a foot on the handlebar?

More orks and Dark Angels in the P&M section. Feel free to leave a comment, trash it, cheer me up, lurk or : http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/423220.page#3790852

MrMerlin: Thank You, It's not the longest Choppa I agree, but I kind of like It a lot, trying now to give him two hand on the handlebar

TaWaaaagh: Cheers mate, that sound good, but number 7 is already here

And now number 7, I got inspired by the Buell and I like the short tough bike that came out, missing the dakka and It's done

Nice looks cool and compact but works well, the chopper works well don't mess with it now just make another one

I think a trike with an extra set is needed next, to house two ork boyz that would be cool

Great stuff keep it coming, hell I might start some work myself

Thanks LDD, but for the 8Th and last bike I'm working on a crashing one with "Launched-from-the-sit-driver".
It's a bit hard, but I'm not scared, if something goes wrong I'll play 7 bikerz eheh.

P.S.: The choppa driver has two hand on the bar and He's easyriding like Mama Orks likes!

Well, in that case you need a second rider wearing a football helmet (jack Nicholson )

Crashing one thats a smart idea and entertaining, mind you with you're posing skills it should work a treat

Tried to put a second boy on the crashed one, but I don't really like It, there not enough space for both, so Jack will be used for the next project, Football helmet for the win
