OP Updated to include new stretch goal and add-ons.

With all this exrta stuff available we are certain to see another big bump in pledges.

I'm glad they brought back the white, black, and glow in the dark dice, from the first kickstarter.

The zombie dogs have been in the Kickstarter from the get go, but we still haven't seen a single actual sculpt. I'm certain they will look great, but I'd really like to see them before the kickstarter is over.

In terms of Tiles and Dogz, what would you recommend buying? I only have the base game which I got at Christmas. Would you recommend a set of each of the tiles?

What are your opinions about the Zombie Dogz / Dogs, I've already got a set of each included as part of my fugitive level pledge.

thanks

For playing the game you only need the inlcuded tiles. You don't need any more than that as none of the scenarios support 2+ tile sets. If you want to make your own scenarios with more than 1 set of tiles then that's fine, but I figure that Zombicide, TCM and the prison tiles will give you plenty. I'm getting extra tiles because I use them for things other than Zombicide, and being able to do a 6x6 city grid with full interiors will be very useful to me.

As far as the dogs... I'm not sure. On one hand, 20 dogs is a lot of dogs. On the other hand, if all 20 have been spawned and you draw a dog card, their extra turn is going to be painful...

You won't ever use extra tiles unless you are going for an unusually large game, or unless you are trying to repeat certian tiles. You'll have 22 tiles Combining the tiles from Season 1 and 2 already.

You may use more than 20 dogz if your players are slackers and just let them roam the map, or in an unusually large game.

I'd double up on dogz before tiles.

That being said, I'm going in for double Fugitive myself.

I don't think there's much need for more than 20 zombie dogs if there's 20 on the board your already in a world of trouble! But extra activations for dogs will be a killer.

For dog companions 6 is probably plenty as , per the rules survivors can start with a dog and can swap dogs with other survivors they each take up 1 equipment space and a survivor could have 5 dogs if they want but no other equipment if your playing a game with more than 6 people and each wants a dog then may be a second pack is needed but it seems like overkill to have that many companion dogs available.

The tiles aren't necessary they are just handy if you want larger game boards or you want to use the 2 different sides of the same tile in a custom scenario - no official scenarios require 2 sets. The TCM pack seems to be the mist worthwhile as you only get 4 tiles in the box so doubling up allows for a bigger Mall.

Almost. That extra tray of Zombies we got with Season 1 has been the difference between wins and losses.

We play with 2 Season 1 box sets, plus the extra tray. There can be hordes of undead to reckon with, but no one misses zombies getting activations.

It's funny to hear people attribute winning to having extra zombies instead of beating the game. LOL.

It's a cooperative game. Your not really competing against anyone, other than the zombies. Triumphing against hordes of zombies only becomes Epic when the there are epic amounts of zombies to overcome.

That and 'beating the zombies' isn't always the objective.

Wow, that's pretty impressive.
Not Kingdom Death impressive , wait, actually it's pretty close (And I still consider them the best at the moment)

Bit of an unfair comparison. Zombicide minis are pieces for a board-game. They are generally of a lower quality because they're more 'board game-y'. Kingdom Death started life as high quality resin collector's miniatures that are now being done in plastic.

It's a bit like saying "My Jes Goodwin-designed Green Knight is better than those Pack'O'Army Men that you bought". Well duh!

I really don't like the cheesecake female figures, especially Dakota with the gravity defying boobs.

I know it will be liked by others, but really not for me. Everything else looks cool.

To be fair, I went to school with a girl who had a chest like that: large and no sag whatsoever. Never wore a bra, never sagged. So "gravity defying boobs" like hers...they exist. I think they did a damn good job of making her quite attractive for a board game piece. Of course, it's not a good fit for everyone-but I think the model is solid. And tight. Lol

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Actually, this is exactly right... BUT!! I think they are comparable in design quality. This for me is the ultimate compliment for Zombiecide, it's almost as good quality as KD in design, that's huge.

That and gravity-defying boobs do exist. They're called fake boobs. That's what they do.

Yeah, that's what I was about to say.

I think I will still pass. I can always substitute their characters with other miniatures if they have a skill set that is completely necessary, but I don't think that will be the case.

Aside from gravity-defying boobs, some women do actually have the implants that do that to them. It's a game set in a pulpy-modern universe, so it fits a lot better than on the typical fantasy figure.

Ugh, I looked her up on Facebook, and the past decade has not been kind to her. She was attractive in HS (fethed in the head though: she slept with her own brother), but MAN is she unattractive now- got very large, and just totally went to hell. What a waste...

Reading that the general consensus is that Sedition Wars was a disappointment, I don't see an expansion coming out too quickly. They obviously have a few items to polish.

As one of the backers I have to agree with this. Even though I really think it was a massive overreaction as soon it started being shipped. People were expecting higher quality minis and higher quality components. Plus the rules were unplayable and a massive FAQ was dropped after a couple of weeks. Even with that the rules need to be start from scratch and rewritten. I haven't played the last campaign though so it may have improved since
