Thanks a lot mate - glad you like it, and honestly I like it much more my self. I find the sculpting thing quite funny to experiment with, so any suggestions are really appreciated - I'll try em all.
By white water - do you mean tap water or is it some special something? I do have both LGS and milliput so I'll give it a go.
The whole engine is from a killakan.

LMAO it is " WITH WATER " not white water for some reason I added an e You just mix the milliput to a paste with the water paint it on and let set.
Have you considered how you are connecting the plasma cannon to the body and what gubbins you adding
Also sorry to ask again but the exhaust section at the back of the model where is it from if you don't mind sharing

Thanks guys.
I have already started adding gubbins, and I have a really cool idea for the shoulder/plasmagun joint.
I do kind of wonder though what is grammatically wrong with the last line in my previous post - or perhaps it doens't show on your screen???

Good start and your cables come out so much better than mine, think I will have to invest in procreate

Thanks mate. I don't know if the procreate has anything to do with it, but for these "flat" cables I have found an easier way to do them than the regular one. Instead of first making a cable with the tubetool and then flattening it, I simply use just one of the plastic pieces from the tool, and roll the cable straight on the table. That way your already flat sausage of "clay" keep the flat structure and still gets the "rippling".

Glad to be of service!
A bit more bodywork. Tried out the water milliput mix - works quite well I think, some mushy stuff though.

That is just such a cool looking model Manus. I'm used to seeing that kind of creativity on a large scale, but on something that small... it's really exceptional.

As for colors, it will be the old black, red and metals.
Here is a starter.

Yep - a good coat of black always help on the sinister aspect of life
I was kind of planning to try some very pale pinkish white skin, with a chemically hue of blues and purples. Something alive but yet not in a good way - think the fat depraved monk from Name of the Rose.

Finally a bit of progress to report. Finished the skin - or so I thought, now I'm not completely sure if I should make it even more pale. Unfortunately the skin color proved very difficult to cathc on photo but I guess it gives the genuine idea.

Looks pretty good but if you want more grey why not just give it avery thin wash of grey .
The reason I say thin is so not to over do it but rather tone the skin slightly, also it will keep the wash more translucent.

Cheers LDD, That's very the pic is pretty cheating I think - I have actually washed two time with a thinned down white to achieve more paleness. I hope that the colors will show them selves better once I get some contrast in there, that's what happened with the murder servitors anyway.

Thanks guys.
Here is a small update. Really bright and too colorful atm, but I'm counting on the blue to look a lot better once it's finished, as it is now, it's only base color, adn it's supposed to be light - as in the source for OSL. I'm also counting on some heavy weathering to dull the overall look some.
