Hello All,

I just recetly found my way here and figured I would sign up and jump right in! My name is Tre manor.....hence the user name yeh? I am a sculptor of 32mm scale figrues ( don't let the number fool you, they are smaller than what you migth think. ) and the owner operator of Red Box Games.

RBG was started to provide a line of figures consistent with the highest standards of the industry in terms of product quality and of a very strong " Old School " aesthetic. As you may have guessed the name " Red Box Games " is a play on the old " Red Box " rules set for DnD. That was my first gaming product ( though not quite my INTRODUCTION to the game ), and thus the intent of the company is to bring back the " Old School " flavour but updated for modern tastes. Right now I am focusing my efforts on a very Norse theme for most of the armies to be featured in the coming game that I am also workign on to use with the miniatures. But don't get the wrong idea, they are intedned for whatever use you put them to. As such I have on offer a range of Dwarves ( Dvergr ) 15 figures strong and counting, Elves ( Aelfar and DokkAelfar ) 11 figures strong and counting, Norse Humans ( Njorn ) 7 figures strong and counting, marauder humans ( HelsVakt ) 7 figures strong and counting, and Goblins ( Goblins ) 5 figures strong and counting. I intend to expand these ranges significantly with heroes and units, and plan to add more ranges as well.

All figures are cast in high quality white metal and are built to work well with most manufacturers ranegs, btu are usually a bit smaller than most of them.

One disclaimer here... The Dwarf figures pictured as green are slightly larger than the dwarf figures pictured as gray. All future Dwarfs will be sized identically to the gray dwarves.

As an example here are two of nine new figures due for release this month ( hopefully in the next 2 weeks ).

Ymir the White, Lord of StoneGate;

Clemundr LongSeer of StoneGAte

And a few examples of my previous stuff..........

Bolverk the Bold

Ulfgar of Auldheim

WoldVagner the Wise

Yrsa the Accursed

Conradt the Crazed

Aurelius the Adept

Myrianna of Aelfheim

Yvander Halfblood MarchWarden scout

Dagny of Freyja

Mordred of Niflheim Wyrm'sBane

Crowbiter Goblin Shaman

Hostrom Hammersmite

Anyway, hello all and I hope that I can contribute in a positive way to the Dakka Dakka community.

Would be nice to see them side by side with GW minis.

I have ordered "Red Vanielle the Dark Beloved" from the web shop Battlefield Berlin to convert into an Inq28 assassin (haven't arrived yet).

If she is in GW scale I will probably also buy the following:
Shadowblade Reyviande - will also become an assassin
Dagny Mistress of the Dawn, Priestess of Freyja - convert to an Imperial noblewoman
Yrsa the Accursed - ?

Finding good female character minis for 40k is hard.
This range looks really good (despite being Fantasy).

Holy snotballs.

VERY nice stuff.

Any idea on prices for these things?

Also... I don't see any "old school" in these things. The heads and hands would have to be disproportionately large with FAR less detail on the models. LOL

Gorram, these are some sweet models. I may just have to put in an order. I especially love that you know how to sculpt female faces, it seems to be a skill somewhat lacking in parts of our little hobby.

You know, something about them (lack of ridiculously oversized weapons, more "adventur-y" gear, static poses on the wizardly types, etc.) reminds me of those really, really old Grenadier D&D figs.

Great work, RBG. Looking forward to picking these up.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Wow! These are fething sweet! The Adept guy is just the ticket for a WHFB Empire wizard, and the rest all look great for D&D minis.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

These are fantastic! I know you said they are 32mm scale but I'd like to see how they compare to some standard rank & file troops from the Warhammer range.

Beautiful!

And since I'm getting the gaming group back together, these will definitely be on the menu when we're rolling up characters!

WOW! Thanks everybody!

Oi Insaniak!

Oi Joshua!

When will they be available?

Only the Ymir and Clemundr figures are not yet availble, btu they should be within the next two weeks ( SHIPPING by then )

some are as low as $6.50

Actually the newer dwarves are $5.99 and there is a gnome theif for $4.99.

I know you said they are 32mm scale

Well when I say 32 mm scale, I mean that the average human male is built on an armature that measures 32 mm from the bottom of the feet to the top of the head, with both feet together and back straight. So the human males tend to be between 32 and 34 mm tall, their poses of course alter the standing height, but this is the idea. Elves tend to range bewteen 29 and 31 mm tall, dwarves ( the older ones ) tend to range between 22 and 26 mm tall while the newer dwarves tend to range between 20 and 23mm tall ( this is the scale that all future dwarf releases will fit ).

I hope this has been helpful. I am ALWAYS open to criticism and suggestions.

Best Regards,

Tre'

Tre, I love you.

Yvander Halfblood and Mordred would be great for a Naggarythe themed army.

Yvander especially would be awesome for an Alith Anar stand-in.

So, how about a unit of Halfblood scouts in that vein and I give you my wallet?
