Subject: What to give to a Juggernaut Lord (or hero)

I've got hold of the Juggernaut rider model, because he looks so cool.
But what do I give him? Especially in the case of the Hero, who I'll probably be running more often.
I was thinking of Sophoric Musk, for when his unit is baited and for running down after winning combat.
Now do I go offensive or defensive with magic items? I can fit on a single expensive magic item, like an Axe of Khorne or Runesword, but should I go for more defense with a simple mundane weapon like a flail or halberd.
What other defenses are there for a Juggernaut hero?

I'm thinking of running one with enchanted shield and deamon sword. With a -1 AS he should be able to survive hitting himself and will kill anything short of a bloodthirster (including ranked units).
As a hero...Axe of khorn would be more than enough. He is a tough beast. The demonic gift that lowers flee distance (forgot name) would be awesome too.

Don't forget that you have to challenge in combat, always. For that purpose, then, you want to build your character to be able to kill other single characters in combat.

Any khorn char on a jugg will mulch most chars out there. The only issue is getting past armor and 8 str 5 attacks (the minimum a hero gets) is prety darn good.

S6 with the A.o.K
For a hero? Def. Axe of Khorne, and then Favour of the Gods if its readily available.
For a Lord? Maybe Blade of Change or whatever its called (probably not) but most likely the Flaming Sword.

If armor is the issue, how about giving it the weapon that ignores armor saves? (might have been mentioned already by name, I don't remember what it's called...)

For a hero, I would highly suggest not giving him a magic weapon. Just in getting an exalted on a jugger, your already paying quite a few points, just giving him flail will make him wreak serious face. That alone is 5 str 7 attacks on the first round and str5 there after. A lord on the other hand, you should go all out on. Heroes on jugger = cheap gear... lords on jugger = all out imo.

Bingo. Cheaper is better on jugger exalteds, but jugger lords should be splurged on all the way. My two:
Lord - MoK, axe of khorne, crimson armor, favor, jugger = 375
Exalted - MoK, flail, shield, jugger = 184
If you prefer a bit more defense, you might drop favor and squeeze the talisman o' protection on the lord (385), and the bronze armor on the exalted (199), but frankly the best defense is a brutal offense

So maybe cheap is the way to go?
It's a shame it's difficult to get a good Ward Save in WoC.
Anyone used Sophoric Musk on one? Might be useful in a unit of guys to 'accidentally' eat some bait that can't get away.

Flail, Shield, and Crown of Everlasting Conquest = 234pts and 1 Fear-causing Hero slot.
0+ Save against ranged and 1+ Sv in hth, 4+ Regen Save, 5x Str7 + 3x Str5 attacks on the charge.
Wham, bam, thank you maam.

While i enjoy regeneration quite a bit, my Jugg hero usually holds hands with my knights so i give him an Axe of Khorne and favor of the gods. Some selective eotg rolling the first turn can turn the knight unit into a huuuuge problem for the opponent.
I've gone several games where i roll up something like +1 toughness, the enemy rounds his whole magic and shooting phase at the nights (bring scrolls for that lore of metal stuff, its scary) just to have 3 khorne knights and the hero barrel into the enemy and still put out so many attacks that most units just buckle outright.
