Just a random thought. What music do you listen to or what show do you watch?

For me its Bolt Thrower for music i feel it embodies my marines the most. Hard aggressive and a soul grinding grove.
For TV: i really just throw on the tube and watch what is on. either that or FoodTV

So share with us.

I usauly dont watch TV when I'm painting,if I do I watch the History chanel or Saving Private Ryan, somthing along those lines.
As for music, most of the time it's stuff like this..

or this...

Death Guard (Sons of the Fly)
Goff Orkz (Da SkullKrushaz)
XXVIth Praetorians.

Audio books and DVD commentary.

However, I haven't painted anything in 2010. Too busy with events and overtime at work (which
means overtime spent at home)

I listen to Black Metal when I paint.

Usually Burzum or something melodic like old school Dimmu Borgir or Immortal.

Want a honest opinion? I play both Games Workshop and Privateer press games. Yes GW has done goofed. But until I -stop- enjoying building, painting and playing their product. I will shamelessly buy from them. Privateer Press has created a wonderful steampunk setting. Has just as enjoyable models, is cheaper and is as fun to play with!

I'm listening audio books. Very-very different - from Steven King to Irwin Shaw or Dickens.

Because if I read a book I fall asleep in five minutes.

I used to listen to a lot of various Metal CDs while painting, but recently I've had the laptop out and watch a lot of documentaries on Google video. Jordan Maxwell, WWII documentaries, American Civil War. Sometimes I'll stumble across an old TV show like Ripley's believe it or not or something and watch a bunch of that. Arthur C. Clarke gets into the rotation too. The documentary about fractals he did was totally awesome.

I love listening to Warhammer-related podcasts when I'm painting. That or a semi-relevant movie, like LOTR or Inglorious Bastiges.

music for me is straight up Iron Maiden, maybe some Dream Theater or Apocalyptica.

I also sometimes watch South Park while I work

I cant watch things while i paint or i get distracted and screw the models up! But i listen to music i like, too many to name but at the moment my 2gb mp3 player has on it (keeping it old school!) The Decemberists, Housemartins, Bluetones, Travis, Bob Dylan, JC, greenday, jamairoquai and bit of madness. If im near my computer i also stick on some creationist lectures or fox news videos i download off youtube, the stuff is comedy genius and i genuinelly laugh out loud at some of the stuff Kent Hovind and his friends are willing to believe in in order to not contradict the bible in any form. I watched one the other day and the guy said dinosaurs went onto the ark like everything else, but we killed them all afterwards, that gaks like Monty Python :-)

In boundless love as a Christian, I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in his might, and seized the scourge to drive the brood of vipers from the temple.

I like to have some sports on the TV, usually.

Baseball is perfect, since it doesn't require constant attention. For music, I just put my entire collection on shuffle and let that play. My wife's music is in there too, so it's a pretty wacky mix.

I usually listen to NPR podcasts; news, how stuff works, stuff you missed in history class, wait wait dont tell me.

It gets my news fix and provides solitude time for my painting and modeling.
