So in a 2250 game on tuesday, apparently i was quite unaware i had agreed to play a game of wiffle ball with my opponent as opposed to a battle of O&Gs vs Beastmen. O&G turn two saw my Savage Orc Boar Boys tear through his regiment of Gors and overrun into his main Minotaur regiment with Doom Bull and panic his razorgor chariot.

First Inning

Beastmen turn two my Savage Orc Boar Boys continue to tear into his units, killing all but one Minotaur. The Doombull issued a challenge which i accepted with my Black Orc Big Boss. Doombull who has 7 strength 7 attacks with rerolled misses! (Gulp).

LET THE WIFFLE BALL ENSUE!!!

Doombull manages 1 wound..... 1.


Second Inning

On the forth O&G turn, I charge my Savage Orc Warboss on a Wyvern into his regiment of Bestigors with Minotaur BSB in the flank. My warboss at that time had 7 strength 7 attacks and the Wyvern had 4 strength 6 attacks. I manage 1 wound on the BSB.

Anyone else have lords who bring their wiffle bat to battle instead of their weapon?

Lol! I've experienced (and heard) something similar- that the mount always does better than the rider.

My noble on great stag... noble whiffs, stag causes a wound. My wildriders, same story... riders whiff with their high WS and strength 5, steed his with its WS 3 S 3.

Just goes to show you shouldn't count out the underdog...

I played a game where I had Karl Franz on Deathclaw using Ghal Maraz. I charged the Galrouch ,a match up where he should have been a very spendy speed bump for The Emperor, and did 1 wound. I was a sad panda.

I guess one cant under estimate the meddlesome dice gods. For Karl Franz to whiff like that is a definitely downer. Apparently Ghal Maraz can have its off days.
