Ok I got the Skull Pass set and a couple more things. I have the 40 NG with spears, 20 NG with bows. 1 NG Shaman, 1 NG Big Boss, 1 Troll, 10 Black Orcs, 19 Orcs (1 converted to to BSB), an Orc warlord and a Orc Warlord on Boar. I will probably be getting myself some Spear Chukkas when I go to my FLGS next and might get myself another thing of Orcs. so anyway for me to make a comptent list from what I currently have (not including what i plan on buying)? thanks guys

I'll let someone else add up a good O&G list- since I don't have the army book :-/- but I highly recommend the staff of sneaky stealin' for your shaman. It's great!

Also, ifyou're picking up something a few fanatics would be a great idea for those large blocks of gobbos.

You don't have spider riders? A friend of mine bought the BFSP set and I thought they came with it. They were really valuable for him, as they gave him some manueverability.

I'd also recommend including one of the Orc leaders in your list (rather than the NG Big Boss) for the higher leadership. You'll need it!

You cant have a lord ina game under 2000 pts and can only have 3 heroes. As for your Orc Boyz, im pretty sure in the RAW is you buy an upgrade for a model like spears you have to do so for the entire unit. Your goblin units are all gonna probably want fantacs as they are a bread and butter unit of most Orc and Goblin armies since they can do a lot of damage against opponents.

Also, a couple of general notes for fantasy lists that I didn't pick up on right away, switching over from 40k (I don't know if you're doing that or not, but it certainly threw me off at first):

-Arcane items can only be taken by shamans (also called mages/wizards etc depending on the army) so the Boss can't take a dispel scroll
-You can only take one item from each category (talismans, enchanted items, arcane items) with the exception of dispel scrolls / power stones, which you can take in addition to another arcane item. You can also only have one set of armor (although you can add a helm) and things like that
-You can't take repeats of magic items in your list, so you can only have one WAAAGH! Banner

I'm not an O&G player so I can't check the specifics of the list, but this should help you vet out some of it. Overall it looks like a good start from what you have, although I'm not sure if that night goblin big boss is going to be much help, and it'd be nice to have another troll to help his friend.

the disspell scroll is listed under common magic items though. and thanks for clarifying that for me. gonna be revamping the list then.

gotta see if i can get another troll. i really like the BFSP troll and i like the stone troll models a lot also. I'll probably post another list somewhat soon with all of your notes in mind.

also not transitioning to 40k. never really played it. i got some 40k stuff that a friend gave to me because he found it when he was moving.

Notice that all the common items are also classed individually as enchanted items, talismans, etc. If you're going with trolls, either lead the army with an orc big boss, or attach one to them to keep them moving, and not going stupid every turn.
