Keepers of Secrets not only know what is in your soul, but whisper to you how to make it reality, chipping away at your weakest points until you yield. They won't reveal it to others if it is going to have you killed or damaged in a way not useful for Slaanesh. Tzeentch is less big on secrets and more finding out what isn't known (similar, but not quite the same). Slaanesh is temptation.

Want a honest opinion? I play both Games Workshop and Privateer press games. Yes GW has done goofed. But until I -stop- enjoying building, painting and playing their product. I will shamelessly buy from them. Privateer Press has created a wonderful steampunk setting. Has just as enjoyable models, is cheaper and is as fun to play with! |

I always thought that the daemons of Slaanesh got the worst deal in terms of battle-worthy terror... apart from those lovely daemonettes. Seekers and fiends are not as good as they could be... I'm envisaging stuff like the Cennobites here, agents of pleasure and pain who make the Dark Eldar look like barney the dinosaur. Not that he isn't horrific in his own way...
Then again, there's always these two, if the Prince of Perversion is stuck for daemon ideas...

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

The Emperor doesn't seem to do much for you but you sure are expected to be mutilated, suffer, and die to make him happy. And is he dead or what? If he's entombed that would mean he's dead as a doornail, right? So, how can he be happy about anything you do, or even give orders to anyone? Are you worshipping the dead now? Is that something you'd really want to do? Because it sounds freaking creepy to me. |

But Old Gregg has such good stats! AND once per shooting phase he can force any model within 12" to take an LD test - if they fail they have to drink baileys from a shoe, causing d6 s5 hits with no save!
Seriously though, I'm not advocating GW to model any Boosh characters. If they have to pick one, it would have to be Tony Harrisson... but that would be an outrage.

Slaanesh isn't about war, it's about desire, lust, perversion, excess, passion, and tits.
I was thinking more about the asian cultures who "dance" with swords and make an artform (slaanesh is the god of art) out of it (whirling dervishes, xiaolin monks, etc.) but to be honest I know what you mean. Its named the Keeper of Secrets because of the Kind of secrets it knows.
