I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not bu on the GW websie uner expansions they've aded a spearhead section what do epople think this "expansion" will entail

They want to make you buy more vehicles, so I try to avoid it if i can :p

I think the new tab is slightly pointless at this moment in time due to the expansion being a month or two away from release and the overwehlming fact there is NOTHING in it yet.

I personally like the idea of massive tank battles, but unless al GW models were lowered under £10 for things up to land raider size, I doubt that wel'll see many of these games (though it may be fun for using massive proxy armies, go tin can Carnifex)

wizard thats kinda why i started the thread so we could coalate info persoanlly i think its just onna be some new vehicle rules ,possibly a downloadable batle mission and new tanks

im excited personally about new models. always am. i would like to see superheavys allowed in non apocalypse games: it doesnt seem too unbalancing if everything is a tank/vehicle. and perhaps it would mean i finally get a plastic t-hawk. you never know.

not a plasic t-hawk i think they might be giving he main races all superheaveys or rules for squa based vehicle combat

It is now less than 5 weeks away from the first Saturday in June, likely the release date for much of the Spearhead product. This means that some or all of the Spearhead major releases should appear on the Warhammer 40,000 Advanced Order page on the GW website any day now, certainly within a week.

As for what's coming, a substantial list of at least some of what models are coming in June leaked out at least a month ago and many people have posted about it and discussed it in numerous other threads here on this and other forums devoted to the Spearhead release. GW also has a page on their website describing Spearhead in general terms and that has been available for public viewing since March.

My personal feelings about Spearhead are that it will likely be interesting and entertaining. I already own a lot of tanks and other armoured 40K vehicles and some interesting variations on using them in games should prove to be fun.
