Preferably a serious one, too. Nothing like "The Emperors Pointy Sticks", anyway. My army colors are Tin Bitz highlighted in Mithril Silver, are heavily mechanized, and are offshoots of the Iron Warriors.

I would post pics of them, but my camera is absolute garbage for taking pictures of miniatures without them being all blury

By legion I suppose you mean warband.

Going off color scheme/mechanisation and Iron Warriors background... hmm... well I don't know using that, but something cool sounding like the Defilers of Hope or Harbingers of Destruction.

My ideas:

Steel Reavers
Knights of the Brass Throne (If you're using Khorne units)
Soulless Ones
Brotherhood of Terror
Razorwire Company (If you add a Lash Prince, you've got a ready-made conversion!)
The Lacerators
Warlords of Blood (Khorne, obviously)

Hmmm, maybe, but those almost seem too...... generic, don't you think?

Definatly likeing the idea of Reavers, Knights, and Razorwire, but I can't make any two of them sound good together in my head.

They feel that the Emperor betrayed them like the Night Lords, but they always viewed the Warp as another power source, and as such didn't really want to stick with the Imperium anyway. Not sure if that would classify them as traitors, per say.

The 3 lords I have figured out are Demetrius, Horseman of Chaos (Rules somewhere in Proposed Rules forum), Alchemizon, Deamon Prince (going to invent rules to make him a shooty deamon prince, hopefully), and Kemis, a Obliterator chick (who can morph more CC weapons, and has wings at the expense of heavier long range options.)

Well my names may seem generic at first, but check out some other renegades! http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Renegade_Space_Marine_Chapters_(List)

Names like Apocalypse Company, Brotherhood of Darkness, etc. The fact is, they are stereotypical, grimdark, hurr durr evil.

fair enough, but still, something with a little more personality would be prefered.

I think they're kind of supposed to be. They are, after all, chaos space marines.

The Lead Apocalypse would be a good name for a gunline chaos army. Or possibly The Lead Plague. Or the Steel Doom ( i know its stereotypical, hurp durp evil, but you can add an "e" at the end of "steel" to make it MANLY!)

How about the Steel Sultans?

Or if you think that is too superior sounding to the Iron Warriors, how about the Slag Stormers?

Slag Stormers - sounds like a dark version of the lonely hearts club.

As for the Legion, what its fluff, why did it separate from the Iron Warriors? Work that out and you could work out what to call it. Say Captain Jeeves has had enough of being under the command of his Warsmith Toomuchevil and revolts or just sneeks away with his followers, then you could call them the Jeevites, or Branch Jeevisians, or after his teachings such as 'The Followers of the Path', 'Pathites', 'The Iron Truth'.

Look up actual cult names, they tend to sound normal but once you know what they are, you know how evil they can be despite the nice sounding name and you then avoid the common chaos names like: 'Iron Deathbringers of Damnation' or 'The Kin of Slaughter'.

Repaint them using earth tones (i.e. dark browns and greens and grays with very little shine), then name them the Irony Warriors.

Lol, don't look at a thread for a few days, and you guys come up with all kinds of ideas for me.

Definatly liking the idea behind brothers, and other than the break off with Iron Warriors, they really don't have much fluff. Maybe something like Razorwire Brethren, though that doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, you know?

I dig Razorwire Brethren, actually.

Maybe go for the Brotherhood of Blades? Barbed Brethren? (if that doesn't sound too Slaaneshi)

I was thinking about using converted Techmarines as my sorcerers, could probably use razorwire (with the points cut off) as Lash of Submission...
