That said, in my opinion, it really depends on how well executed the concept is, even if it's a bit silly. In this case, like the Hello Kitty marines, it's well done. On the other hand, I've seen armies that looked like they were painted using cheap nail polish (and may actually have been), and it's those armies that I recoil from.

Seriously, Muammars gang is really cool (although a bit to disturbing) - and I can actually imagine there being such a gang in Necromunda.
As for Hello-Kitty-ish Marines - "Not So Much" (in Borat-speak). I have even banned all Orc armies from my cellar...

Baluga's Bad Boys are hilariously awesome. Regardless of disturbing imagery, Slaaneshi Biker Boys, Hello Kitty Marines, or Strawberry Shortcake apocalypse, so long as they are done as well as those, I'd be happy to face off against 'em. I just want to see an army that's built and painted like someone cares, even if it's a completely silly and over the top theme.
