Nicest Tau titan I've ever seen.

I can't lift the picture, so here is link that I hope will work: http://www.coolminiornot.com/3935

Now, that is what I call a Tau Titan.

What a waste of a beautiful Mad Cat

There is an attitude that not having an insanely optimized, one shot, six stage, omnidirectional, inevitable, mousetrap of an assassin list army somehow means that you have foolishly wasted your life building 500 points of pure, 24 karat, hand rolled, fine, cuban fail. That attitude has been shown, under laboratory conditions, to cause cancer of the fun gland.

Actually Fcn821 he actually used a Vulture, you can tell from the missle pods and upper arm/shoulder section.

i can't believe that guy defiled such a beautiful model. if i could get my hands on one of those old armor cast battletech models i'd hold onto it for dear life

I'll see your nerd moment and raise you one.

He's wrong.

It appears to be an amalgamation (woot, $5 word!!) of both kits, but it is DEFINITELY more Mad Cat than Vulture. The legs, hips and torso are DISTINCTLY Mad Cat, the largest give away being the triangular shapes in a half circle on the torso, which WOULD have formed around the point the cockpit meets the torso before he so BLATANTLY DESSICATED a masterful piece of art. The arms and shoulder missile launchers are from a Vulture - the Mad Cats arms have a rounded slope for the 90 degree turn where these (the Vultures) have no turn in the arm itself, and instead form a 45 degree angle between arm mount and weapon housing. The missile launchers on the Mad Cat are almost perfectly cubular (did I just make that word up? Guess I paid for my bragging about amalgamation...), where the Vulture's LRM 15 is far more taller than wide, and is angled back.

That horrid display of lazy I-Want-A-Titan is akin to a toddler ripping off Michalangelo's David's head so he could put a Ken Doll head on it to play Barbies with REALLY better Barbies than the girl next door...

But I truly have no opinion.

i agree totally Deathgod.

Titans are cool but by doing that he has ruined a very rare and gorgeous model and what he is left with doesnt even make a very good titan.

http://www.armorcast.com/battletech/

Not rare models, just gorgeous. All told $216 from armor cast, plus whatever he had to buy for GW parts. Not to mention just plain lazy.

Its nowhere close to as bad as someone gluing rhino parts to a $2 plastic elephant from the zoo and calling it a squiggoth, but it's in the same neighborhood...
