I will say this tutorial is awesome, and I have done this to 2 different marines. And the results are great, I also noticed on my second attempt that if you cut more of the joints apart on the arms you can reposition everything about how they aim. This is a great tutorial thread for aiming and helps your get your own ideas for what you can do.

This is good.... isn't it?

i love it!

i'm tired of the stupid " shooting off the hip" stuff... and your conversion is just easy enough, i just might do it!

BTW currently my favorite Helm to give aspiring champions is the normal AsChamp Head but with the horns lopped off

Can you make a simpler 1 i cut my space marines to pieces admittedly it was all ready glued painted and thrown from a canon and i was cutting it with a drem,memel

Great conversion!

I tried something similar using an original plastic beakie and a bolt gun modified to look like a sniper rifle. Don't want to hijack your thread with my pic, but if anyone's interested... here's the link. The model isn't finished being painted at this point, but these are the best shots of the firing position conversion.
