On the subject of Combi-Flamers, here's a crude one I made using 2 bolters and a flamer



I used pretty much the same method as this guide, only I placed the bolter on top

Wow... wish I had seen this before I converted 16 for a friend using metal melta guns. Anyway what I wanted to point out to anyone interested in cheap $$$ melta guns is that for some reason, melta guns are expensive everywhere, but Black Templar melta guns are flying under the radar on eBay. I've gotten a total of 6 plus 6 plasmas & 6 flamers for $12. Just look up Black Templar bits; I think people don't notice them mixed in with BT bits. Just my 2 cents.

Hey there, I don't have any pictures but I have put it on a few - if I get time this weekend I will try and take some pics. I put my sternguard on a backburner while I played my bike crimson fists. I am doing dark eldar right now, but crimson fists are next up and will be painted in interludes to the DE.

Somnicide, brilliant stuff. I did this a few months back and made these Combi-Weapons but it never even entered my head to make a tutorial.

I also wanted a "UZIEL" pattern Bolter because I want some of My Sternguard toting Twin Boltguns or Boltgun and Bolt Pistol (got some of those Angelus Pattern ones too!) , just for John Woo-esque posing really..

If you need the parts for lots of Melta Weapons and don't have any meltaguns to cut apart, may I sugest you use Hidden Knot Barrell Clasps.
You get 28 in a package which is enough for 56 Melta weapons and they only cost $3.
I've made Ifernus pistols, Meltaguns, Combi-Meltas, pretty much everythig Melta except a Multi-Melta and some the special cannons, these things are great.
