Anyone notice how the thing says you get +1 bombardment for each objective, and there's four objectives, and he only adds +3.
Also, anyone know how you're supposed to move through the Aegis Defence Line? Destroy it? Difficult Terrain?

That looks like the same Tau terrain they made in the apoc release and no its not in production as far as I know. There was a group of us that had told them they needed to release some terrain that was more race specific and not all imperial. It would be easy to make eldar and Tau terrain so here is hoping someone listened!!

Defense line is those small walls, right? It's just difficult terrain. Turrets shoot at deep strikers during the enemy movement phase with BS2. I don't remember the bombardment, but I know there is a D6 rolled and either D3 or D6 is taken away or added to it. Then they're placed anywhere on the board as a strength 9 ap 3 large blast that scatters the entire 2D6. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also Lictors are awesome in Planet Strike, but can be shot at by the turrets when they Deep Strike in.

Nope, but I know a couple of the strategems. Unless there are ones in Cities of Death because I haven't played that so I don't know any CoD ones.
Teleport Bombardment is cool.

From WD;
Planetfall - Standard Planetstrike Game
Desperate Assault - Defender only has to hold a single objective to claim victory, but attacker also has bastions
Seize and Destroy - Not really clear how this different from the WD description, but it might be a game with only one objective
Stranglehold - Attacker must destroy all of defenders strongholds
Forlorn Hope - Capture the flag basically.
Planetquake - Planet starts to breaks apart, think this one is all about surviving

When people post stuff like this do they really think they are saying anything remotely revealing?
OF course GW wants people to buy more stuff.
Do you know of a lot of companies looking for their customer base to buy LESS stuff or no new product whatsoever?!?
Always strikes me as a really dumb point to make...

Thanks for this. I also laugh every time I see angry posts invariably complaining that, " GW just wants to sell us more models!" I see posts like that fairly often. My standard response to that is, "yes, they do. And the grocery store wants to sell us more groceries and the hardware store wants to sell us more tools, etc."

First, where did those Oblits head swaps come from, FW Zerks?
Secondly, I own the PS book and Lictors are completely superfluous. Raveners are where it's at for Nids. Supply Drop Strategem + Raveners = awesome fun.
EDIT: Also, the point about GW selling us models is relevant - a lot of people are under the mistaken impression that the game is the most important aspect of the hobby - it isn't.
