I call BS. There's not chance GW would put 20 terminators in a single box set.

With 20 termies it gives the option of playing against other marine factions or allying with does it not? Didn't the older sets come with different coloured termies so that teams could be used?

Too many Termies to make this believable. Even if they're the AoBR monoposes (which I'm sure they are). 10 Termies & Librarian against 30 Stealers & Broodlord makes more sense.

Box contents aside, I can't fathom 20 terminators in one Space Hulk. Maneuverability is hard enough when you have 5 Termies in a cramped hallway; 20 is ridiculous.
If he said 10 Termies, a Librarian, 20 Genestealers and a Broodlord, I'd be more inclined to believe him.

You're right, of course.
So, maybe that's what he meant to say.
I guess that means slightly less force on the kick to the head then?
Of course, if this isn't true at all, it is more like a kick to another region...

I would like to apologise to all members of Dakka it is indeed 10 terminators not 20.

The broodlord is supposedly the one previewed at a few GDs but not yet released, first I have heard that it would be metal.

Given that it was a regular-sized sculpt, rather than a 3D render or 3-up, that one was always going to be either metal or a Forgeworld resin piece.
Unless it can be cast in one piece, though (which looks possibly doable if a bit tricky) I still can't see it as part of a boardgame release.

I think :
Terminator would be at most 10
Brood lord will be plastic.
I cant see GW been lazy to the point that they will recycle
models from current range to push a new game.

Ten terminators sounds a lot more realistic.
I'm not really that concerned with what actually comes with it (although plastic corridors would be pretty mac), I just hope the rules are still solid. I've never played the old versions of Space Hulk, but I've read the rules. I really hope they bring back the timer for the Marines' turn. That would be so cool. If I'm gonna play Space Hulk, I want it to be tense. You know, get the blood pumping and all that.

I doubt there will be any metal figures in this box.
Should all be plastic, as it's a hobby board game designed to be more or less playable out of the box.
Realistically the only thing you should have to do is glue the figures to their bases ala the Blood Bowl Box Set.
GW makes great board games, I wish they would release more - though the stuff coming out from FFG using GW's IPs looks good. I just wonder if FFG will be able to make a 40K game that isn't Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader.

yeah,
Ok let me be the first to say I hope they copy litko systems blip counters and make the new ones in glowing green plastic.
I also want to see plastic corridors and game items... at the very least I want Plastic Doors and bulk heads to hold the tiles Like WHQ
Jam and hit Special Dice have to stay.. a plastic/metal C.A.T. mini will Kick ass.
I hope they stay away from weapons tables like in 1st edition. Second edition plays better.
I'm hoping they make this edition even more StreamLined.
Now i have to think do I want to keep my old copy or sell on eBay...
I guess you can never have enough 'nids...
Panic...

I don't remember any weapons tables in first edition. It was a super simple game for rules though rich in tactical complexity.

Well! This is a most unexpected turn of events! For, is it the fifth time, now?
