Glowing endorsement for Cyporiean.

She painted over 2k worth of High elves for me. *Great prices*, very easy to work with.

Great painting job, special care on my special characters (which look amazing now), flocked all my bases and to top it off, she packed them up better sending them back to me then I had sending them to her to get painted.

Thanks again to her for the great work on my stuff.

You can see most of the army on her section of deviant art.

I'll throw my name in the hat as well.

EDIT: I've recently decided I simply cannot accept large commissions of similiar miniatures (Marines being one promininent example) I have nothing against them, they can look amazing on the tabletop and seem to be quite popular, but painting 100 miniatures, in a row, in the exact same scheme, drives me insane. So from this day (April 27th, 2010) onwards I will not be accepting any large commissions of Marines, Tau or anything similiar. I will finish the ones I already have in progress, but no more.

EDIT yet again. Summer break is just around the corner, I'm looking to accept a medium-sized (30 miniatures or less) commission to fill in my spare time.

Examples of some past work of mine:

Lurtz & gang, Lurtz Display standard and the rest to Very Detailed.

Fellowship of the Ring, to Very Detailed standard:

Complete Breaking of the Fellowship, to varying standards:

Custom Cadian commander, to Detailed standard:

Command squad, Commander to Display and the rest to Very Detailed.

Rough prices:
Single 25mm figure, infantry:
Detailed: $3.25 per figure
Very Detailed: $5.75 per figure
Dispay: $8.50 per figure

Single 25mm figure, hero, named character etc.
Detailed: $4.00 per figure
Very Detailed: $7.25 per figure
Display: $11.00 per figure

Large base miniature: (I.E. ogre, bike, etc.)
Detailed: $9.00 per figure
Very Detailed: $14.00 per figure
Display: $22.00 per figure

Artillery: (I.E. Zzap gun, Organ gun) (Does not include crew)
Detailed: $6.50
Very Detailed: $11.00

Small vehicles, larger creatures (I.E. Dreadnought, Killa Kan, Sentinel etc.)
Detailed: $20.00
Very Detailed: $35.00(Only available for large monsters, it is very hard as you might imagine to get very detailed with large, flat surfaces—i.e. tanks)

Standard-sized vehicles & large monsters (I.E. Chimera, Ork Trukk, Warhammer Giant, etc.)
Detailed: $55.00
Very Detailed: $80.00 (Only available for large monsters, it is very hard as you might imagine to get very detailed with large, flat surfaces—i.e. tanks)

Super-large vehicles & creatures (I.E. Stormlord tank.)
Detailed: $110.00

Specials I do:

I like to get people started in the hobby. Any starter sets (I.E. Mines of Moria, Battle for Skull Pass etc) will recieve a 15% discount off the final price for painting.

I offer a 15% military discount.

I offer a 15% discount if you commission me to paint any new miniatures within 3 weeks of their release.

If you're interested please contact me at swordofkings14@yahoo.com

A few details:

You'll have to ship the miniatures to me and pay the cost of me shipping them back (sorry )

I will only accept commissions in the USA (too many past problems with lost packages overseas)

I have just started doing commissions for painting and conversions of all sorts of models 40k fantasy LOTR and other games.
Some conversions I do is some very popular tyranid conversions
I am a skilled converter and painter my price is low with quality results
well I have been doing this stuff for about 8 years been painting for about 6. I am in collage now so every $$ helps but I really like to give a quality look to everything I do. My average turnaround on a full army is about 2-3 weeks I like to make videos and post up pics of the painting projects I do for people. I also make alot of terrain like Tyranid capillary towers Eldar craft world stuff and tau air base terrain. Another cool thing I've done is a demon gate. If you want some more pics of my stuff

Hi everyone. I am going to toss my own hat into the commission painting ring as well. I am a poor college student so any extra money I can make comes in very handy. I strive to do my very best quality for work, but without charging huge rates. I figure the average standard grunt for an army would run in the USD $3-4 dollar range, with simple paint schemes being slightly less for standard quality. If you want to pull out all the stops, we can discuss pricing from there. I'm not looking to get rich off of painting (but it would be nice if it somehow happened to work out that way)

I have completed a commission in the past. The way the commission process will work with me is as follows:

1. You PM me to start the conversation, I tell you if I have a slot open (I should, I'm pretty quick at painting)

2. We agree to the scope of the work, what you want done, how basing will be handled, if it will be matching an existing army or army paint scheme, who will be purchasing the miniatures, cost, ect.

3. You send me deposit which covers cost of miniatures or send me miniatures to be painted, and 25% of the agreed on painting cost.

4. I start painting your models and send you frequent updates as to how they are progressing. I may be in class during some times of the day, but I will happily go over my schedule with you and you will have my cell phone number and email address to contact me when needed (If I am in class, I will not pick up the phone obviously)

5. When painting is complete, you get full high quality photos (digital SLR with macro lens shots of units/individual models) of the work, and at this time any last minute changes will be made at your request. (maybe you want the eyes to be a different color) Once everything is to your satisfaction, final payment plus shipping cost is sent and once the money is cleared, you are shipped your models so that you can slay your foes.

I am mostly a 40k player, but I will paint anything. I can do minor conversions if you supply the parts, or I can dig into my own bits box if you want something minor done here and there, price can be discussed. Without your clearance, I will never use a non-GW bit on a model so that it will remain 100% legal at your game location (unless you want something like pig iron heads or something specifically, but those would be up to you to purchase or allot for)

I'd like to endorse gorgon_locke. He painted a wonderful noble on great stag for my wood elves, sent me several rounds of WIP shots, and was an excellent communicator. A great experience!

Unfortunately, my wife left our camera with a relative, so I will see if my phone camera can do it justice. I've been waiting to post till I can get a decent pic of it, which I'll just add to this post once I've taken it.

Thanks, gorgon_locke!!!

Hi! My name's Rhen, I've been playing 40k since early 1998, and painting just as long. I've recently taken leaps and bounds in my painting and would love to begin my commission career. Prices vary from model to model depending on the detail of the model and the amount of detail you want painted on them. Here are a couple of miniatures of mine. My armies are coated in gloss varnish because "I" like it and once their coated they never chip. I would never use gloss varnish on a commission piece (or do anything else to your model for that matter) without being asked or at least asking first. People who want whole squads or entire armies painted will be charged a better price per model. You must pay shipping and handling to and from. (sorry I'm a broke disabled vet). Hope to get some responses soon!. I have a gallery here on Dakka and one on MWG http://www.miniwargaming.com/channel/dingholio/

I paint to a quality tabletop standard, including edge highlights and shading. I'm willing to paint just about anything, although I'm better versed in painting 40k models than anything else. However, I'd still be happy to paint Fantasy, LoTR, FOW, 28mm WWII, or any other minis commissioned. I'll paint any number of models ranging from just one man to 2000 points or more of Space Marines, if that's what the client wants. If the models need assembly or converting, I can do that as well. I'll drill gun barrels, shave down mold lines, and fill gaps if necessary. I can convert things up if need be, although I'm no green stuff maestro. I've got plenty of positive trades here on Dakka, and I'll supply the client with alternate means of contacting me, so I can send them speedy updates. I can supply work in progress photos of the models commissioned on request. I'll paint just about any scheme you want, or if you want me to come up with my own that works too. I might charge a little extra for something like Imperial Fists, or any freehand. Here's a handful of models I've painted for reference:

I'm always open to ideas, suggestions, and special requests for my paintjobs. If all you want is standard basing grit painted and drybrushed up, or fancy bases from Micro Art Studios, just ask. Time frame, pricing, and other details will be worked out on a person-to-person basis. Paypal is where it's at for payament. Drop me a PM, and we can work something out!

So I have started taking commissions again, and since I currently only have a few local projects going wanted to offer my painting skills to the Dakka Community. \

Heres the bits and pieces;

All prices are starting at; Character Prices Vary so please inquire...

The Prices Reflect 3 Step shading on all colors and will be painted to slightly better than table top standard (see pictures below all miniatures are painted to this standard or better)

Custom work and intricate requests are priced on a case by case basis.

I require a deposit before starting. Usually this is the cost of the models, or the models themselves not including labor however I am happy to work with you on a case by case basis.

My turn around time is aprx 14 days per 1000 pts and will be quoted at time of purchase.

I do not have a minimum purchase price however for every $100 spent you get $10 worth of painting free so you actually get $110 worth of painting.

I can paint in many different styles however I am most often asked to do the hyper realistic style as shown in the pictures below it is also the only style I am currently interested in painting. You can expect the same level of detail and care in all the pictures to be applied to each of your models.

Shipping is $20 flat rate in the US regardless of how many miniatures however I suggest you buy foam or a case for your newly painted models.

Pricing-

Painting

Troops $3
Elites / Heavy Support $5
Large Models $10
Small Vehicle $15
Medium Vehicle (Rhino/Chimera etc.) $25
Large Vehicle (Landraider/Battlewagon etc.) $40

Welcome to Paint Monkey Studios! Providing miniature gamers worldwide with 'tabletop quality' painted miniatures.

Specializing in Historical and Fantasy Regiments as well as Sci Fi Squads and Vehicles

email us at: paintmonkeystudios@gmail.com

our Facebook page: Paint Monkey Studios on Facebook

We have wargame miniatures for sale as well as taking on your commission projects. We specialize in Historical and Fantasy Regiments as well as Sci Fi squads.

What is 'Tabletop Quality'?

Put quite simply, the figures will be painted to a standard that they are going to look good on the table. Mind you, this is not Golden Demon work, but a method that produces great looking figs to actually play with!

Each figure is primed, basecoated, given a layer of shading, a layer of highlighting, final detailing and matte sealant. Assembly, base flocking, flags and banners can be done as well for an additional fee.

Commission Projects:
We will work with you to ensure that your figures are painted to your color scheme. Price Quotes for commission projects are quoted for the project as a whole. We don't quote a per figure price, unless the project is one figure. Please feel free to haggle or offer trades, we're gamers too and open and flexible to all serious offers.

You can either send us the figures for the project (assembled or unassembled), have the figures sent from a third party, or we can get the figures (and assemble if needed) via internet or local shop. Either way, you're getting your toys painted quickly and ready for the table!

Once a project & price are agreed to, 50% of that must be paid up front to get the project started. Throught the process you will receive updates and photos on the status of your project. Once the project is near completion, you will receive a front/back photo of every figure for final approval. Once the project is completed, and before shipment, the balance of the project price is due within 30 days of notice. Once received, your project will be expertly packaged and shipped to you via Fed Ex with insurance.

Hello everyone!

About me:

I work from Galway in Ireland where I paint fulltime.

I am usually quite busy with commissions, but if you contact me a month or so in advance of wanting some models started on, I can usually fit them in with no problems

A quick rundown of services offered:

My dakka gallery can be found here with detailed zoom shots of my work http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/user/11961-Ifalna.html
There are quite a few images to say the least, please enjoy a nice browse

My painting level and prices guide can be found on my site, right here http://ifalna.webs.com/prices.htm
The prices and levels marked are guidelines. If your models are particularly small or you want a very simple scheme, the fee can be discussed. I also have no problem discussing fee's if there are large units involved.

I dislike taking on army commissions, if you want more than a unit or two painted up, it is unlikely I will take them on unless they have an interesting scheme I will enjoy painting, or the final price is relatively high.

My FAQ regarding shipping, payment and terms of service can also be located at http://ifalna.webs.com/prices.htm at the bottom of the page.
I have absolutely no problem taking orders from outside the EU.

Quick info:

- I offer 3 painting levels. I take intense pride in my work and in general do not offer what I would consider "under table top standard" unless requested first, which will indeed affect the pricing.

- My shipment methods are very secure and the Irish post does offer surprisingly cheap registration and tracking. Usually only €10 for a parcel under 1kg.

- Basic basing is free, but assembly is not. You can read more in the prices list.

- Painting guides are free! If you would like, I can send a simple photo guide once the commission is done, showing a quick and easy way to use the same colour scheme on any other units you would like, that will help you achieve a matching result, regardless of your painting skill. I also offer video guides for a small fee.

Examples (click for larger shots):

Showpiece standard Tier 3

Character standard Tier 2

T-top standard
