Dont know what Skaven are
Hate them - they look stupid/the background sucks
Tolerate them - WHFB would not miss them if they were dropped
Like them - They are a good part of WHFB lore but I dont collect them
Love them - I enjoy the models and background and maybe collect them too

I like the idea of a sneaky army and what better to fit the role than a bunch of giant rats? Not a huge fan, don't know much about them but in my opinion, giant sneaky rats FTW!

I love everything about them. The giant crazy Machines, the Back Stabing, the power hungry, everything.

In the Webway.

Theryre not the greatest WHFB army, but as with most other armies it would be weird without them, they also play a part in other armies backrounds, seiging dwarf strongholds etc. Thier war machines are cool but i wouldnt collect them.

I voted other.

I don't find the idea of mutant rats interesting outside of TMNT, but I voted "Like them" instead of "Tolerate them" because they are important to the background. Of course, they are only important to the background because of their interactions with Nagash, and Nagash is made of awesomesauce.

They have giant hamster wheels that roll around the battlefield shooting lighting and they have a guy riding a big swinging bell.

How can I not love them?

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I dont care about Skaven fluff wise ( i dont really care about fluff period ) but i can understand how people see them weird .
But then they are only as weird and strange as Orc and Goblin and just as cute and silly.

I love Skavens.

I like Skaven. The Gotrek and Felix books really endeared me to them, and their technology is cool. If I start a WHFB army this Christmas I'm tied between them and Empire.

I hate them for the reasons on the poll, and that I play against them all the time because my friend has them, and he makes such big units that its impossible to kill them.

I love the little buggers. I like their background, it's some of the most interesting in WFB.
Now that the model range doesn't look awful they're just great. Could do with clearer rules writing in that army book though...

I konw who they are and all that. But I dont play WFB so generally dont care. I know they were part of a video game I had many years ago. It was a fun game, if not impossible to beat

Skaven all the way! I love the Doom Wheel and the Plague Furnace. The unpredictability of the army is what keeps things interesting.

I don't collect skaven but I think that they have a very interesting and humorous background.
WHFB would definately miss them if they were discontinued.

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

Have used them a few of times, had a small 1000-1500pt army back when I had every army for Warhammer in the mid 90's.

Also had a load when I owned Quest a few years back as well, but no coherent army.

Like the race and the ideas behind it, but would probably not get any Skaven now, unless I fancied using them in Mordheim, or Quest comes back ofc.

I love the idea of a backstabbing rat race and I would definitely collect them if I played WHFB. I love the way the models look and I might just buy a of them just to paint them.

There is a Stephen King story in Night Shift, also the movie graveyard shift, which is based on that short story, that is about giant rats under a factory. I always thought of that story when skaven come up. Based on a lack of funds and time during my life I have never picked up a skaven army. I probably will some time in the future.

Skavens are the perfect example of that one does not have to win to enjoy a game. My best game EVAH was when my Warp Lightning Cannon shot a bolt through my whole army and struck the Doom Bell on the other side, which caused it to crash, which caused it to crush my Grey Seer, which caused the rest of the rats who hadn't fled or died yet to run out off the table. Protip when playing the rats: Don't place them in a line at the very back edge of the table with a Warp Lightning Cannon at one end. For those who enjoy playing the game rather than to win it: Place them in a line at the very back edge of the table with a Warp Lightning Cannon at one end. You'll thank me for it!

I won't bother.

I love the models and the lore but I've never messed with them, played them or played against them. I personally prefer Tomb Kings and Orcs & Goblins.

Heck, Skaven don't have a counterpart in 40k but I think WHFB wouldn't be the same without 'em. I really don't see why someone would want to see them removed. They're an army like all the others. The more the merrier
