I think it's like 3 or 4 variants.

Hi guys i have showed these pics a couple weeks back but here they are again.

finished head and variants
 its the final thingy. ;D
Xenomorph
Just to let everyone know this weekend I managed to make a crater for the pod... its huge and took me 2 full GS big tubes. the cratter hole alone is about 5 inches. 2 big tubes in a couple days thats a record for me.

Can't wait to see that pod, either. I noticed the spores can take weapons in the codex, will there be a mounting point for them anywhere? How much are you thinking of charging for the finished pod?

Me bringing the best army that i can is not WAAC. It's me trying to enjoy the hobby, and give the best game to my opponent as possible. I will of course be polite, joke around, and try to give you as enjoyable a game as possible
If you enjoy the hobby by bringing less competitive, more fluffy armies, then i can respect you for that, but i'd ask that you not think less of me just because I am enjoying the hobby in a different way.

Our goal is a $30-35 Price for the pod, it really depends on the cost to produce though, I dont want to go any higher then that.
As a bonus we are trying to keep the crater a correct size for the Trygon emergence hole

I love the xenomorph heads.
What are those meant to fit on?
Also, are the Boneswords ONLY meant for the Tyrant or will their also be Warrior size swords as well? I'm also to assume that there will be left and right boneswords as well for those of us wanting to make a Swarmlord.
I'm too assume LW get a similar treatment?

John,
It is more a shipping issue as well, I try to pack as much stuff as we can using Bubble envelopes and wrap. I have yet to hear of anything breaking with this method and it keeps the shipping pretty low for everyone. If we have to start boxing small bits due to resin breakage, then it becomes a nightmare for everyone. (I can ship anywhere pretty much anything for max of $12.50, cheapest is $5.00).

Good point. Everything from the pod comes in blisters or boxes. I wouldn't trust USPS or anyone else shipping resin in a bubble wrapper.

I'm working to add a place so you can magnetize any weapon you want. And wil post pics of the cratter later today. Automatically Appended Next Post: Here is the cratter for the biopod... as you can notice is quite big.
At the begining I considered having details like some small skull or bugs but If you are going to get multiple pods you would end up with a very boring and reconizable features so I tried to make a generic cratter that can go in any terrain and get away with multiples... also the 5inches of interior can give interesting terrain and game options also.
Pod wise the cratter will be mostly covered by pod but I think the extra detailing inside cratter can give you more modelling options.
Hope you folks like it.

Well, I certainly think the greenstuff "alien" heads look better then the movie alien heads.
In fact I´m so pleased with Navarros work on them that they will most probably be the sole reason for me starting a warrior based Nid army.

OK I have the 28mm resin female Imperial Guard human heads back from the painter.
Honestly I think they look pretty decent. Is there room for improvement, yeah, but I think for a first try they are good.
If you dont like them, well, I cant take the money out of your pocket
If you do like them, they are available for sale.
These are resin and come on a sprue of 6 heads.
You can buy them from our site here.

Pretty good imo.. I mean since GW doesnt sculpt female models you got a monopoly
(yes i know GW does sculpt male models with breasts and long hair.. those dont qualify as female due to the heads being basically the same as the men!)

Hmm. I watched these on the other thread, and was with most everyone else in saying they needed some major work. Now... I'd say they still need improvement, but a good paintjob can do wonders. I still think that some more practice should've been put into it before anything was released (and personally, wouldn't buy these), but not nearly as bad as I expected. Good on you for that.
(And certainly, better than almost anything GW has done in the way of female faces)

Wow. Gonna be honest, because I like your stuff a lot"
The female heads really, really stink. The previous criticisms of them still stand when painted- even moreso, actually, as the asymmetry and mishapenness of the eyes is more apparent. No offense to the sculptor, I hope- these are an okay starting point, were the eyes, noses and the flattop hair totally redone. The rest of the hair is good, though.
I really hope you didn't sink much money into these. The rest of your line is really good, and none of us would like to see sculpts like these bring you down, either in quality or financially.
