I'll look into the cigar, I think it could look sexy. I have actually spent a good portion of the morning looking at female dimentions...scientifically speaking, all SFW I assure you...and a couple of videos on sculpting the female form.

I might just start all over on this model. If I did it the way I am thinking of now, it would be easier, and would look better. I think I'll finish this one, but then start on a second complete model right away.

The problem with making a second one is I only have weapon hands for one model.

Stay tuned, and see what shenanigans I get up to!

OK, I tried to sand down the model's cheeks to make them a bit more realistic...they came right off!

So, instead of trying to glue back facial features that didn't look that great in the first place, I just took all of the rest of the face off.

I will start over tonight, but in the mean time, I did some work to the torso to hopefully make it look better, you be the judge!

You may notice that the over-sized breasts are missing! I will give those another go and see if I can make them look better...they were lop-sided anyway.

Instead of correctly sculpting her back and ribs, and then adding the coat, I just got started on the coat. I will add to this and blend it in to make the trenchcoat, but I think this a good start.

So, how does it look? Please, don't be affraid to give actual critisizim, I can take it. I have tried to take all critiques and suggestions into account and I think it has improved the model so far.

Actually, I have had to ignore a few critiques, and I am sorry, but this model will most likely look like an adult film star...but that is on purpose!

Thanks!

Sitting here at work unable to actually do anything on the model, I have been toying with ideas of how I want her to look...how I want her hat to sit, how to place the trenchcoat, stuff like that.
What do you think about this?

I hadn't thought of that. I have looked through countless female models, but all single figures, and none of them was quite right. I'll look into it, there may be some bits on ebay. I'll get back to you!

Great initiative to fix it up! And know what, it was worth it! Already I can see better forms on the torso, the cloth on the arms looks great... good for you dude, no sarcasm!

And now a friendly tip about boobs -

Most people tend to draw them or sculpt them as inflated pectorals, same placement as a man in terms of top and bottom of the boob. The thing is that the boob usually general only starts midway or so on the pec muscle, with the bottom most part of the curve a little bit below the line of a man's pec.

In other words, when you get back to the bewbs, make sure they don't start at the collar bone and end were a man's would lol!

Again, I am really impressed with the initiative you took, it is that kind of dedication to standards that eventually really sets people apart.

@ZacktheChaosChild-Thanks! I was hoping someone would appreciate that! She obviously won't World Eaters, but i figured even they have cultists, right? We'll see about including the icon the final model, but she will very much have Khorne Iconography!

@MajorTom11-Thank you very much! I may have to play with the bewbs several times to get it right, but I am dedicated to this project, and even if I have to do exhauhstive research at the local newdie bar, I will do what ever it takes to make the bewbs feel right! OK, That was a bit silly, but seriously thank you very much, it is constructive critisizm like yours that helps people like me improve! And don't worry, I will post pics as soon as I play with the bewbs again!

Also, Fleshborn_Interior (which is a wierd name, and I don't really want to know where that came from ) brought up a great point about using an existing head for this model. I found a bits auction for group of wyches, but none really looked right, but I also found the head of Hekatrix for auction, and I kind of like it, does anyone know if it would make a good female IG commisar? If I trimmed the ears of course? I will post a picture of her head below.

Thanks all, for C & C. Tune back later and see where this wild ride takes us!

If it were me, I would definately go with the DE head. I think it will be hard to tell once you remove all the earrings and the pointy ears, give her the hair that you had on the first model and a commisariate cap.

I think the sculpt is progressing nicely! The jacket and boots especially! There is something weird with her left butt cheek, though. It's kind of...pointy.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,

@Rawson: Thanks, I hope the Hekatrix head works, I already ordered it! Along with a interesting weapon that I also hope works. We'll have to see... As for the hair you mentioned, I haven't had hair on the model yet, are you reffering to the cap she had on?

That was the begining stage of her Commisar Cap, which I finished last night.

It looks a bit tall to me, maybe it will look better once I put the DE head on. Hopefully.

Also, on the pointy butt, the whole butt will most likely be covered by the trenchcoat, so we'll see how that works out too.

Hopefully tonight I can get to work on re-doing her boobs. I'm thinking of doing a corset similar to this RL one.

Oh, ok, I haven't read comics in a couple of decades, sorry. Kind of like that I guess, but less cape - more coat, less seductress - more uncaring, heartless witch.

And after looking at some google images of the Huntress...I can't belive I am going to say this...but I want to go for a bit less skin showing on this model.

I kinda just went with fleshborn but it felt empty... so it was on the spot naming. To be honest im not too pleased with the name either... but ey! as much as things strive to be it is impossible to be perfect.

good update and good choice on the face. but about that hat... you should make a braid circling the "triangle top" and the visor with ... grrr never minde too hard top explain justy lookit this pic youll know what i mean...

or even with khorn iconogrphie but It does need that pink braid(even if its not painted pink)

I had to go back to believe it, but you're right. She's never had hair! I think I was remembering this picture, but in my head, she had a chin length bob cut.

Nice work. She's looking very much improved from the earlier versions. I think her thighs could still use a bit of beefing up though, as they're looking Olson-twin-skinny. Overall the anatomy is still much better though.

Your fabric looks awesome. Wish I could sculpt fabric that well, haha. Definitely keep up the good work on that.

Sounds like you're set on the DE head, but if you're looking for more female heads/faces in the future and are still hesitant to try sculpting them yourself, check out Hasslefree. They've got a bunch of bare heads available, and they can even be used commercially if you're so inclined.

@Fleshborn_Interior- I was thinking of a braid or something to go one that seam of the cap, mostly to hide the horrible seam. I might even paint it pink! We'll see how it looks. The iconography though will be difficult, as it is such a tiny space! I'd say it's less than 2mm or so. I started looking through my berzerkers for a small Khorne Icon on a weapon or something that will fit there, and I can press mold it somehting. *crosses fingers*

@jazzbacker-she will be getting both hair and the cap. I am thinking mid-length dirty blonde or brunette.

@Nightfall-Thanks! I just use what I have available and what I am familiar with! If I had Photochop I might use it, but I already know what I can and can't do with Paint.

@Rawson-a while ago Juvieus Kaine posted a link to a cartoon female commisar, maybe you were thinking that? I like that hair style, but I was thinking a bit more wavey, we'll see how it goes...if you all haven't guessed yet, I usually just go by the seat of my pants when sculpting, for conversions or this complete sculpt. So I never know what it's going to look like until it starts to take shape....I know I might get better results if I planned it out more, but that is just not how my inspriation works. Oh well.

@Zefig- I did actually look at those, but none of them jumped out at me. However, if I continue with this army at some point, I want to make it all female, and will most likely use those heads for rank and file and seargents and such.

My fluff-what I have given any thought to-has this army from the 5th planet in the Amazonia System (Amazon 5), and will be the "Fighting 101st Amazons". This planet is controlled by the females and only females are allowed to serve in the Military. This was a loyal planet, and has never come under the attention of the =I= (yet), far from it. The planet's leaders have in fact been commended several times on the outstanding loyalty they have shown to the Empire. Secretly however, the leaders have been worshoping Khorne for decades, if not longer. They feel they can best worship him by being disciplined in mannor and brutal in combat. It will be a heavily close combat focused army, but will still feature plenty of shooty stuff. This is not a "Berzerker" IG army. It will be pretty much standard, maybe heavy on the vets. Who knows for now, I don't plan on filling the army out more than this one model for a while.

@tipios- Thanks! I hope it turnes out. And you don't give yourself enough credit!

@Jimsolo- Thanks! Yeah, I like the Corset Lady! I really didn't have to post her, I just wanted to!

@dsteingass- Redhead? Hmmmm. I'll have to think about that...I might mock up 3 versions when I get her head and hair done.

On a side note: I went home for lunch today and found the bolt pistol I was looking for off a berzerker and pressed a wad of GS onto it and left it to cure. I'll have to see tonight if it worked. If it did, I'll have a Khonre Icon the right size to apply to her cap.

She is looking much more filled out now. She looks better with some meat on her bones. She definatly looks more female than the model i attacked with GS, She looks like a man in drag.

Red hair would be good, to go with her atitude. as long as it does not clash with the rest of the clothing. What colours are you planing on doing her corset and stockings?

@M0rdain-Thanks! I'll look into the red, I like redheads, so we'll see how it works out. As for collors for her clothing, I'm not 100% sure yet, I want black for her boots and trenchcoat, I'm thinking red for the corset, but maybe bronze, to make it look like carapace armor.

And way to go with your female warrior! Are you going to re-do the eyes?

@dsteingass-Now I have to sculpt a freaking sash? Oh, well. I should be able to do that. Maybe I could put it around the outside of the coat instead of a belt.

I got a bit more work done. I worked on the cap and the Boobs!
The press mold I did of the Khorne Icon came out pretty well I think:

I hope to start the corset and finish the coat this weekend. But we'll see, my weekend is pretty full of activities I just hope the Head and weapon get here soon! I also hope the head isn't too big for this hat I have been working on.

Thanks for looking! C&C welcome as always!

yep, generally the sash is worn around the waist
this guy's DKK is a good example

but Gaunt himself wears his across the shoulder too, so I think you have some flexibility there (see any of the Gaunt's Ghost's book covers.
