I had intended him to walk with the tzeentch warriors, as he isn't too bad in combat and he'll probably have range with his spells, unless you go with Death - and even then chaos armies tend to close quickly so it shouldn't be a problem.

You could mount him if you wanted the mobility and the armor boost, but then he also becomes a better target for enemy artillery (because he'll likely get no LOS! roll) or just in general (if he's flying about on his own). The sorcerer you most often see mounted are sorcerers of tzeentch on discs, as they have such heavy ward saves that they can usually soak enemy attention. You'll need to do some cutting to make this dude fit though - MoT for 20, disc for 20, charmed shield for 5 ...

And the disc build is old and stale. Just because we eat bread every day does not mean it is a good meal

I just happened to have a Mounted Sorcerer pewter model, was why i asked lolz...And i wanted to be sure

You clearly have never sat down with a gigantic loaf of sourdough, make sure its nice and chewy, and a stick of butter. Which is what i would equate a Disk Sorceror to.

Your jaw will be sore afterwards, but you will feel very satisfied. its not even all that calorie heavy, just make sure you eat a salad next meal.

You can add Hellcannons if you want, they are really good although somewhat risky if you are running Wizards in your army as they can cause Miscasts.

Sure, give a hellcannon a shot, though here's my tip: don't fire it. Put it in your front line and hurl it at some T3 infantry (it wounds them on 2+), or something that's S4 or less (they wound it on 6+), and grind their faces off. As a combat monster, the thing is stupidly undercosted for how tough it is - but as soon as you fire it you run the risk of killing it faster than the enemy ever will, excepting for Initiative test insta-gibs and lucky cannons.
