Two of my squad, Archers of the Rayven, who were guarding me in the forest were executed by the eldar when they freed me in the desert.

I don't think anyone playable was lost except one of the rhinoes were lost along with the driver. Didn't want to limit the people joining I think.

Summary of the RP so far:
Ork forces have invaded -World name yet to be determined-, provoking the Emperors Children to launch a crusade to stop them. Deployed as forward scouts, the Ninth Company (Brotherhood of Orion) has encountered heavy resistance. The units deployed to face the invasion consist of:
Tactical Squad "The Griffin Brethren"
Tactical Squad "Knights of the Basilisk"
Devastator Squad "The Archers of the Rayven"
Brother Captain Dreph Kalar
Terminator Assault Squad "The Jaded watch"

As well as other forces for brief periods

The deployed units destroyed a large convoy of ork vehicles, as well as a swarm of Orks that they encountered at their landing. In that battle, Sergent Segari was grievously wounded, and came very close to death, but held on to life by a thread, through a somewhat mysterious means.
Being suspected of Taint, Segari and his squad held out in a section of forest while the others fought off yet another Ork assault. A suprise ambush by the Eldar killed 2 Archers of the Rayven, and kidnapped Segari, resulting in another conflict, this time between the Eldar and the united forces of these squads. After repulsing the Eldar attack, Imperial forces were extracted to a fortress, where they are now holding a war council to see what is to be done next.

You missed Dreph being incapacitated by a Wraithcannon, but this counts anyways.

They Aquila was an honour the Emperor granted them

The execution of the captured(excluding Segari), resulted in another conflict, this time between the Eldar and the united forces of these squads. Dreph was seriously wounded in this combat and still recovering from the a direct hit from a Wraithcannon After repulsing the Eldar attack, Imperial forces were extracted to be extraced, but their gunship was shot down. Now they are using it as an encampment, where they are now holding a war council to see what is to be done next.

Not a fotress. A stormbird was sent to extract them and was brought down. They are using it as a camp with barricade made from one.of the rhinoes which was destroyed.
