There has been some rejigging of the stretch goals, including now including a rather robust "points" system to facilitate trading out rewards and to allow for modular stretches

Currently, funding sits at 13k. At 15k, people at the $95 level get 15 points worth of models added onto their pledge for free, this equates to a few free smaller models, or something as big as a Type V (which is now unlocked!). After that, roughly every 10-15k, 5 or more points are added on for free!

Yeah, I'm liking the look of things now. Things might look a little confusing presently, but he's said he's working on a chart with all the point costs etc that I think will clarify everything significantly!

I'm in at the Infernal Overlord level, which I'm pretty happy with right now as it contains a number of minis that I think are absolutely awesome, and this new trading system with the points will allow me trade the stuff I'm not that interested in for something else. If a number of those stretch goals are achieved, this level will also turn into a really good deal I think. Good times!

Question!

Is this exact model available?

The version shown in the Kickstarter seems to have the right helmet, but with a robed body.

I'd love to get a version of this Paladin as seen in the 1E AD&D PHB!

Thanks!

I really like the large demons, they're great. Damnit. I don't have the money to spend on this and RBG in the same month!

I'm currently in for overlord and a few add ons. I appreciate the price break the higher tier gives. I'm hoping the break will apply to stretch goals as they are met. Still waiting on a scale shot though, just to be sure. Some of the numbers listed seem really off. Like it says the Type 1/vrock is 40mm tall. If that's to the top of the wing, no way it will work for 28mm games.

This KS is currently hovering at right around 21,000 and 187 backers. Lots of nice sculpts, a lot of 80s-style D&D artwork. The add-on/swapping system has been overhauled considerably since the KS launched, so if you were a little put off by that it might be worth looking again.

Would love to back this one but I don't think I can afford it at this time. Moving flat in July with all the attendant costs.

Just out of curiosity- is there a way to pledge for a lot of the small / swarm-type models? In the pic, there seem to be lots of them, but most of the add-on prices I see, etc are for the big models.

The pledges are now completely point-based, so depending on how much you spend, you'll be able to spend all of those points on swarm critters like lemures, dretch, and manes (or whatever else)

10 points gets you 6 manes, or 6 dretch, or 4 lemures.

Yes, currently the overlord level ($100) gives you 120 points worth of minis (with more points as more stretch goals are achieved). You can spend that any way you want. The type 2 (Hezrou) are 14 points for 4. Peribo are 10 for 2. The abbat-dol/cambion multipart kits are 8 points each. 4 orcd are 13 points. Dretch and Manes are 10 points for 6 (though you're slightly better off buying them as an add on than buying with points).

These are actually extremely reasonable prices! Absolutely wonderful aesthetic running through all of them (those demons are great), and the use of a points system is a wonderful idea for keeping things clear.

Thanks, guys. And they do look like a good deal. But I don't see where there are bigger pics of the minis in the "quick glance" chart... the only minis I see further down the page are stretch goal / exclusive minis... The only small ones shown are the daemons type iii. Where can I see bigger pics of the other minis in the chart?

Definitely pledging on this one - the miniatures are actually remarkably cheap for what they are

A quick question to anyone who might be more familiar with this than me! I'm in at the 'Infernal Overlord' ($95) level for this at present.

With the current total having just hit $25,000, does that mean I get 105pts, +20pts extra for the pledge total reached so far?

Mithrobarzanes looks like a pictue of a magician in one of the old Conan magazines from the 80's. In the picture, Conan was ripping over the top of an alter after that guy while the concept scetch here is almost identical to the magicians pose and weapon in the magazine.
It'll make a sweet looking figure.

Great thanks!

And I assume I can use those points to pick freely from the item list, rather than just getting the ones that are listed under the 'Infernal Overlord' pledge description?

Haha yes, I suppose so!

Have now pledged for this, it would be nice to see this hit $30,000 as there really are some wonderful little models (and some bigger ones also!) in the selection.

Alright, I'm in at the 12th hour. Held off earlier but these look like they'd be a nice complement to the other Demons & Devils kickstarter I backed. Optimum level seems to be the Overlord level, yes?

Wow, this, Crocodile Games' WarGods KS, and CMON's Kaosball KS (which has already ended... and no one here seems to really care about, interestingly!) all ending on the same day! It's like a miniatures kickstarter traffic jam

Yes I was surprised Kaosball didn't seem to get much coverage (not sure about other wargaming forums?), although it did end on a not inconsiderable $350,000

SavageRobby - I too backed at that level, although there is certainly the variety of miniatures there to pledge higher amounts! I only held off as I'm going on holiday in a few weeks..

Bloody hell someone was on the ball with this one, at least wait until the body has cooled down before burying it!

Hit the £30,000 mark, the final email communication regarding the project - looks like the guy has a lot of work before him in any case!

Well we did it. It was a long month I'm not going to lie. Some ups and downs and the 16k lull did have me worried! But at the end of the day it got done and $31,000 is pretty amazing. I have a lot of people to thank but I want to start with the backers. Without you none of this would be possible so from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for the support over the last month. It means a lot to me.

Now there are two people I want to specifically thank. Justin and Mike have both been a great help over the last month. Justin for snazzing up the graphics and making things a lot better looking around here. Mike you all know better as Mortal Arrow for his suggestions as well as his support. Both of these guys are stand up individuals and I wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors.

I think we can look back at what we have done here with some pride. This started out as a chance to get about 8 miniatures into production and turned into 37 miniatures being added to Fractured Dimensions when everything is said and done (and this is not counting the KS exclusives). So overall really awesome.

So in the short term I am going to get an excel spreadsheet out to everyone that you can play around with to determine what you want to do with your points / dollars. I think this is the easiest way for everyone to finally decide what they want to get. You can all expect this in 2-3 weeks. The medium term will be all about getting everything sculpted and mailed out to you. I also pledge to put out an update every Friday to let you know exactly where things stand. So you can expect an update at least once a week until this project has been completed.

I know some people are a little disappointed that Mephistopheles didn't get unlocked but I think you will be happy to know that he will eventually get sculpted and be heavily involved in the next KS project. Before anyone gets excited that is a long way off and I haven't done anything other than noodle it over a little bit. There is still a lot of work to do on this project and I don't expect to be able to run another KS for at least a year. Right now what I am thinking is that in preparation for that I will get the following miniatures sculpted up next year some time:

Mephistopheles
Bone Devil I
Horned Devil I
Frost Devil I
Imp
Babau

I think that will be a solid line up for another KS when this one is finished off.

Well it has been a pretty busy day so I am going to head to bed. Thanks again for your support and dedication to this project. It has been a humbling experience.

Newest update:

Well, Orcus is almost finished. After Orcus Paul should be working on the Abbat-Dol Warrior and a couple more Dretch. Hopefully after that Demogorgon will get finished. Pictures of Orcus below. This week I will get out the spreadsheets to everyone. It looks like only one person only hasn't filled out their survey so I have everyone elses email addresses.
