We hit $15,000 and now the HEDGE ROWS will be added to the FULL KIT & ASSEMBLED KITS & DOWNLOADABLE PDFs. The hedge rows will be on a single hex. This will be a sparsely filled shrubby terrain for your in-between areas and camping needs!

Honestly, I'd rather have everything in Sepia tones. I understand why some prefer color, but I think the sepia actually makes it easier to immerse yourself in the world. The colors can be jarring, and if they're off a bit it makes it even harder to get into the game.
Man, I am loving the art style, whether sepia or color. I really want to paint up some models to use with this now, which is such a strange idea. Definitely going to be following this one!

This is awesome. Backed! As a Warmachine player, I would love to see some simple low / stepped hills, as they are a staple of Warmachine terrain. By the way, do you think gluing static grass on the outer edges (to potentially help blend it in to the table) would work, or would it all fall out in short order or even damage the paper or stop it from folding nicely?

Three tiny settings fit into the space occupied by a single regular hex setting. Whatever it is that your adventuring party needs, they'll have it (I hear the price match too!)!

Have they said how thick of paper the pre- printed versions will be? I worry my kids will just want to play with it, rather than actually let me use it (to have my toy monsters play with naturally). They aren't the most careful tykes.
Still thinking of taking the plunge on this one. I kind of like the sepia look myself.
I wish Fat Dragon would have a similar option the next time they run a campaign for those of us with crappy printers!

No, and that's a good question. Please ask them through the Contact Me link on their KS page. Doesn't look kid-proof. However, PDFs will be supplied, and you can print as many as you want. Since you're international, this (and getting a new printer from EggHead!) may still be a better option. Maybe a local print shop would work if you want multiple sets for you and the kids? You will definitely want additional roads, rocky terrain, forests, etc.
Also, look at DriveThruRPG for free and cheap PDF paper models.
Bridge has been unlocked! 2K to objective markers and target dummies. No, I don't know what they are, either!

When we hit $30000, BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS will be added to the FULL KIT, ASSEMBLED KITS & DOWNLOADABLE PDFs. Bridge over troubled waters will include several flat water features that you can either permanently add to your settings or throw them down and pick them up as you see fit. It will also include a mini setting foot bridge that has a river running under that is designed to be used with the water features.

I know we said that the kits would be printed on 110lb card stock, but the prototypes that we have shown you were actually printed on 80lb card stock. And we like that, so we will be sticking to the 80lb.

What are the odds we hit 35k?

When we hit $37,500, TOPPLED ARCHES hex will be added to the FULL KIT, ASSEMBLED KITS & DOWNLOADABLE PDFs. The toppled arches has a high sniper's nest and plenty of walls for cover. The last vestige of the fabled arches of Strymia. Mike, really likes this one...
As a cool side note, after this kickstarter there are going to be over 1,000 gamers with experience building pop scenery. This will inevitabely lead to new people making their own original pop up terrain. I look forward to this.

Project Update #17: It's a....

Bird! No! A Plane! No!! It's an UPDATE! BOOM!
Everything is moving along swimmingly!
On Monday, we are going to have test .pdf files (of the settings) for backers to download/put together along with the written instructions to see if there is anything wonky that we missed or that isn't clear (because what is clear in Mike's head, may not be so clear in someone else's). And! A fresh pair of eyes (or 1000+ fresh pairs of eyes) is always useful. These are not the final .pdf files, so things are subject to change.
Also, We are going to be sending out the address survey next week. If you plan on moving, just make sure we know if it might affect where your package should end up.
Can you believe July is basically over? WHA?!?!
TLDR We'll have Beta test files to play with next week

Our printer told us that we can pick up the sepia kits tomorrow morning!
YAY!
Shipping will commence next week (we'll be spending the weekend packaging them all up). Feeling pumped about this as it puts us ahead of our previous ETA of the end of September!
Assembled Sepia kits will be shipped out at a slightly later date during the month of September (have to assemble them first!).
We sent out the address survey recently for the straight Sepia kit levels, so if you haven't answered that... Please do!
