They wont drop them otherwise the game will be considered sexist which is big in the UK (eldar and dark cannot cover this as they are a mix not pure since SM are pure male they have to create a pure female to counter this sexist problem) which is why GW are neglecting them as they know they can't drop them so they do next best and ignore them and rarely address them and not give a dam.

...

No, you really have no idea what you're talking about.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Your american you don't know what we are like with this kind of stuff seeing how GW is a British company, I'll give an example of what happens when sexism is involved in parliament. MP say something sexist all other MP from other parties says he sexist and there party is like that, and next day it's all over the news and newspapers and a really life example is David Cameron have to reshuffle his people so he could have 2 extra women on his team since he only had one and was being called sexist . That's what it like if there sexism involved anywhere and it almost as bad as racism which is like one person says it then everyone points to that person saying there racist even though technically they may actually not be racist. It's what we brits like using as a shield and a way to blame people and companies, and trust me my family own a medium sized company and we have to be VERY careful around sexism and racism otherwise you can be sued thousands of pounds for. So this is what GW have to do and it is a drag which is why I don't blame them even if they don't have to do it they need to so they don't get branded as a sexist game.

You're wrong here and, more importantly, this has nothing to do with GW's reasoning for the Sisters of Battle. Their origins are closer to the Nunsploitation films of the '70s. The GW team like the old models a lot and see them as a niche army that people can only get full price through GW.

Let's not derail this thread into tabloid nonsense, please.

That's a pretty awesome army op. That would def draw a lot of attention from the community.

As far as your questions - 7th edition is good enough to enjoy, there will always be shortcomings but you take the bad with the good. It really comes down to how much you enjoy the hobby.

Whatever you choose to do, I wouldnt sell that army. You might regret that a year or even a decade from now.

Believe it or not, I left the hobby for 20 years. 1993-2013.
My only regret is selling all my stuff back then. An orginal space
hulk game. original epic boxed sets (I don't even remember it being called epuc back then). Countless Rogue Trader minis.. who knows what else. Bottom line is I wish I could buy it all back. I'd pay 10x what I probably got for it.

Don't make that mistake. If you aren't interested in 40k right now, carefully box it up and stash it away. Enjoy other interests, have fun. If and when you get the urge to get back in to 40k again - that beautiful SoB army will be worth far more to you than the little stack of cash you'd get for it.

Good luck in your decision op!

Play with your Sisters. 7th with its rapid fire changes, tougher vehicles, and weakening of assault makes one of the best editions for Sisters. Three Exorcists are always a good starting point. While the new codex has weakened the Faith system, they are still usable.

Thanks a lot for the help everyone. It means a lot that you all took the time to write back and give me advice.

I will see how it goes with what I have. I have a really close friend that is about to finish basic training with around 10,000 pts of guard and 4-5,000 pts of forge world guard. So I will ask him for a couple games. I think he will be excited that I want a couple games in. I'll bring the winecoolers and my sisters...

As asked before, I live in Chesapeake/Virginia Beach, Virginia if anyone is around that area and knows any gaming clubs.

Isnt that 11th Company Territory? You might wanna get online and look up the 11th Company Forums. In the back of my mind I think they are kind of over that way and it might be a decent forum to get on. Maybe not. But check it out if you want to.
