I am also considering getting an ODST themed force but I am still on the fence as having x3 40k armies may be to many.

In terms of collections, I have nearly everything I want for the SM army. I think with the few remaining bits I want for the army, it will take it up to 5000 pts before it is completely finished. For the Nids I aim to have around 5000 however that may increase as I will hopefully get some FW bits for it as this will be my main army that I play (including some Apoc hopefully). Eldar I'm not too fussed about as I don't intend playing them anytime soon so won't change much and Orks I will probably take to 2000 - 2500 pts.

If I go for another army once the above is done, it will either be Tau, Necron or Chaos/Daemons. I would love a Warhound Titan but I think the modelling and painting for a model of that size is way out of my skill range!

I haven't played in a long time but when I used to play, Orks and SM were my favourites (my friend and I used to have awesome battles playing against each other with these two armies) and the one I'm looking most forward to playing now is the Nids!

I have 20,500 points of Eldar. Currently have a Phantom Titan being constructed/painted so its not seen here.

Also the entire army is a WIP as I am in the process of painting it. I am just very slow doing it...

I think you may be 'in the process' for quite some time...

Folks come in my apartment and are surprised by all the stuff I have ready to play and all the stuff I have yet to assemble. I have more armies than I can really play right now, so I'm planning to get some extra shelves to set up in my apartment to display all the painted models I'm not using at any given time.

I have somewhere around 3,000 points of Tau. And am the proud recent owner of 5 Necron Deathmarks.

I have Ultramarines (about a battlecompany although precious few tanks... needs some rhinos), Iron Warriors, and I just started Grey Knights about a month ago... I figured I had 6 months to a year to get to a comfortable position and play a few games before the new dex hit. *facepalms*

Around 4k of Eldar (thank you ebay) maybe 4.5k depending on wargear.

I got my brother into 40k, but he only likes it for the game, so I have essentially bought and painted three armies: CSM, Daemons, and SM. All this in the last 18 months. My wallet hurts.

Ive got about 5k+ of Blood angels, basically the full 8th company with some of the 1st company mixed in. Also have just under 2k of Crimson fists. In fantasy i have 3k of lizardmen, but i dont know if that counts or not for this, lol.

Really wanna do an apoc game where i get to put all 7000 points of my marines on the table. 70+ various jump infantry, half a dozen special characters, 4 drop pods, a few tanks/dreads, and 2 fliers. Ive laid it out before. Pretty impressive to look at.

Most of my armies are built for 4th edition, though the Ultramarines, Sisters, Chaos and Necrons all started in 2nd edition. Some are slightly over 2000pts in varying degrees.

A small Black Templars force, still mostly un-built. 2,500 points of Inquisition that includes an Imperial Knight and a Baneblade. My main army is Grey Knights and I have a complete Brotherhood, right around 7,500 points. It's slowly being painted

There are four 10 man squads of Terminators, the first squad splits in two and are the escorts for the Librarian (by the Landraider Redeemer) and the Chaplain (under the Storm Raven). Two Strike Squads, one Interceptor Squad and one Purgation Squad with Razorback and a Purifier Squad with a Rhino. There are Seven Paladins (painted) and one Apothecary (not yet painted) with the Landraider Crusader and the Grand Master in gold armour. Kaldor Draigo is in front (converted from a Hector Rex model) along with the Brotherhood Champion. lastly are two Dread Kights and five Dreadnaughts. Four are pictured and the empty base will be a Contemptor Dread armed with a hammer and shield (counting as two close conbat weapons).

This puts 105 boots on the ground.

48 models in Terminator Armour, 50 in Power Armour, 2 in Dread Knight Armour and 5 HQ Characters ( four in Terminator Armour and one in Artificer Armour).

About a quarter of it was purchased from used bins at the gaming store, and another half of the models were kitbashed from used Space Marines and the extra arms and heads from the Strike Squad sets. When painted they match really well.

Jesus where do you guys get money for all of this??

For 40k, I have;
- Chaos Daemons
My main army currently, though tanks to GW cooking up an entire batch of bad plastic glue, there's at least 1,100-1,200pts worth of units to finish breaking apart, re-clean & glue back together.
All told, probably have about 3200pts worth of Tzeentch, plus about 1500pts each of both Khorne & Slaanesh. (Nurgle can go to hell though!)

- Chaos Marines
Most of it still waiting to get built & painted as I can't choose on a warband yet, though I think I've finally settled on the Oracles of Change...
Aiming for 2k with this one

Plus I've got at least 1000-1500pts worth of boxes for Marines, Dark Eldar & Eldar.

Don't play 'em as a Fantasy army currently, because High Elves are douchebags to daemons and Tzeentch overall is at best mediocre in the current book.
