BA vs. DE or necrons is the most logical choice. Idk about everyone else, but i really like the snap fit minis. so anything besides a select few armies would probably warrant a purchase from me.

Perhaps not, but since GW seems to subsist off sadness and pain, I can't rule it out.

My brother in law is thinking of getting into 40K and wants to run DE. If the Blood Angels were easy to convert to regular Space Marines, I would be all over this like white on rice. I, too, like the snap fit minis, they make play out of the box possible and that is pretty cool.

I refuse to accept Stormclaw, as it vanished quickly without a trace, and Dark Vengeance is still on shelves everywhere.

I want the next box set to be an actual Space Wolves one that all Space Wolves player can have access to. Not some limited edition stupidity.

The can fight Dark Angels, or Chaos, or some other stupid army like that.

And we all know whats the story THERE.
But even without plastic Sisters, there would be some delicious irony in the fact that you'd have robots made from an organic material versus humans made out of metal...

Plastic is not organic dude.

And I am NOT getting meat models.

Except for the fact that plastic IS, by definition, organic.

I could get on board with a Sisters box since it would bring out plastic Sisters, and people seem to be clamoring for them a lot.

I still think there should be Orks in the box.
The other faction does not matter, but there have to be Orks.

After a quick check, it appears that some plastics are in fact organic.

So we could have an animal with plastic shell, theoretically.

But ... you could eat them when they get killed?

... granted, it would probably be more appropriate for a Tyranid player.

I feel this is an apt comparison.

I think you mean Blood Angels and Necrons...
Spoiler:

My vote goes to Guard vs Nids. Followed (very) closely by Sisters vs Necrons.

Homebrew Imperial Guard: 1222nd Etrurian Lancers (Winged); Special Air-Assault Brigade (SAAB)
Homebrew Chaos: The Black Suns; A Medrengard Militia (think Iron Warriors-centric Blood Pact/Sons of Sek)

No, not at all! 7th edition took their Allies of Convenience away

I didn't really like that change.
Not every Space Marine Chapter has the same level of alliances, that's nonsense.

Doesn't matter, that image is forever burned into the conscious mind of 40K-dom. Like an adamantite statue raised on all tomb worlds and Baal.
