Been A fair while Dakkaites

MrMoustaffa: Nope, I don't own either of them. They're just very keen.

You are right to question the delivery schedule (I'm still waiting for stuff from TGG).

At the moment I can cast 5-7 tanks per day, I will be buying a second pressure pot which ups the number to 10-15 per day, and I may quit my part time job to increase production even further (if the KS breaks 13k).

The January first wave is only items that are already in production, the April second wave is the rest of it.

All the crew figures will be in the second wave to give the sculptor time to sculpt.

Cheers,

~ Bob

Some photos of 'printed' models Bob has just put out in Update #8.

Turan Mk. I: The photos needed changing to B/W for easy viewing

Turan Mk. II: This needs to be cleaned up with a toothbrush to remove the print dust

Solid Spaced Armour

Mesh Spaced Armour - this is thin enough to see through in some areas

They look nice to me.

@Azazelz - I will respond once and once only to you.

I am neither a shill nor a water carrier (as is somewhat implied by your posts), though I must admit to being of the male gender as you state!

I am just a backer of some kickstarters and when I personally feel that those kickstarters are really good I promote them with my time and effort and discuss them on various forums. I also do my own due diligence into each project as I do with all my investments, and I advise others to do the same (as I did with the 'Winter War' kickstarter). For example just last night I withdrew my backing from one kickstarter because I decided there was to much possibility for misunderstanding with the creators. I have also withdrawn from other kickstarters I have backed with major companies in the field because I got the impression that they were not customer orientated and were not worthy of my support and investment.

The 'Winter War' kickstarter is now presently 5 months behind schedule, not the 10 months you state, and is also now in the final stages of completion. Gavin, the creator of that kickstarter, has more than proved his mettle and come through difficult times in completing the kickstarter, which being as I was and am the major investor in that kickstarter I am extremely pleased about. Indeed when he runs his next kickstarter I will undoubtedly support it fully.

Oh Bill, you absolutely are a shill and a water carrier, since you make no effort to be part of this community and only turn up when you're pimping a Kickstarter. In the previous thread, you were aggressive in doing so, and rather unpleasantly so.

Here's the link to where I said that Baker Company's would have no ability to deliver in November 2013, and in reply you were a rude dick for absolutely no reason.
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/550999.page#6041957

It's now September, fulfilment isn't completed. Since I have the ability to count, that's 10 months. Regardless of the Casting Machine Saga and how long it took, he clearly had no ability to deliver in that kind of timeframe, or anything near it, so to put it simply, I was correct to question it, and you were full of it/water carrying. Good choice to double down on the bs spouting, though - it just further reinforces your lack of credibility, as does your little brag about being "the major investor in that kickstarter" - conflict of interest perhaps? It's always great for the credibility of campaigns when people who are "major investors" in something pretend that they're just another humble backer while trying to entice others to also put in. Outright dishonest is what I'd call it, myself.

Luckily for Bob he has other supporters who are much more able to hold a pleasant conversation in his corner, like SableFox.

By the way, guys. Additional posts by the same authors (like this one) get appended to the previous post here on Dakka. It's to prevent the same people "bumping" threads, as you found out.

So as this thread is not hijacked by some, well .......... (he is not worth going there). So let's get back on topic.

As things stand current pledge total stands at £8,354.

Next up (with only £146 needed) is:

£8,500 - 44M Tas Rohamloveg

then:

£9,000 - Tacam R-2

£9,500 - Renault UE Chenillette

£10,000 - Panzer 35(t)

£12,000 - Katyusha

£13,000 - Zis 42m

£14,000 - Zis6 (Zis 42m upgrade)

And there is still over 19 days to go.

Bob has just announced that he is re-doing the master for the Katyusha "as there were some improvements to be made."

Kudos to him. Look forward to the next viewing of the 'master' of it.

Interesting. It looks like the next three stretch goals are Romanian-focused. No TACAM T-60, but still a thumbs up for offering the TACAM R2 (probably because it shares a chassis with the Panzer 35(t)) assuming that this reaches 9K as I expect it will.

I am really love these trucks - I hope that they will be unlocked in the KickStarter. The ZIL-42M half-track is a particular favourite of mine.

Since it has not been mentioned here (I think) the Renault UE Chenilllette tracked artillery tractor (used by France, Romania and others) is now unlocked.

Currently up for unlocking is the Czech LT vs 35 also known as the PzKpfw 35(t).

In terms of delivery, in his latest update Bob gives a delivery timeline with stuff being scheduled for delivery from Nov 2014 (basically the stuff already done) to Apr 2015 (stuff being worked on). You have a choice of waiting till the end and getting everything in one chuck, or three split delivery options. In terms of delivery I think there is something for everyone ;-)

The Czech LT vs 35 light tank, better known as the PzKpfw 35(t), as used by Czech, Germany, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria has now been unlocked.

Next up for unlocking is the Italian/Hungarian CV-33

Just 66 hours remaining of this great little kickstarter.

Bob seems to be working overtime making sure all the basic work is done well ahead of actually getting to the stretch goals, introducing a whole load of new vehicles to the 28mm battlefield.

If you play Russian 28mm then getting a Katyusha for just £20 must be a dream come true.

Now UNLOCKED:

•Italian/Hungarian CV-33 tankette (single MMG, Twin MMG, and AT Rifle versions)

•Italian L3 Lf flamethrower tankette

•Soviet Katyusha truck-mounted rocket launcher

Next to come are the:

•Soviet ZIS 42M half-track truck – only £947 to go

•Soviet ZIS 6 truck – a measly £1,447 away

Still over 40 hours left of this kickstarter.

Now into the last 24 hours of this kickstarter.

Presently to unlock are:

•Soviet ZIS 42M half-track truck – only £339 to go

•Soviet ZIS 6 truck – a measly £839 away

Wondering if Bob has any little surprises for us if he unlocks these trucks with time to spare.

Thanks for the compliment :-)

The KickStarter marches on toward conclusion and it looks like the ZiS-42M half track will unlock today. Bob has given a timetable for when things should be produced in 4 waves - surprisingly (for me anyway) the Katyusha and ZiS trucks may be in the January wave, since (I presume) the development work on them is complete.

I am looking forward to the ZiS-42M unlocking 'cos I'd like to mount a Katyusha rocket rack on the back of one. A bit of conversion work, but it should be fun.

With a range of Hungarian, Soviet, Romanian, Italian, French, and Czech vehicles it is well worth looking at the KickStarter. Reward levels start from £10 (for a CV-33). If you are interested, take a look and maybe add a pledge. If you are not interested then just ignore this post ;-)
