It's what they did for 40k right ?
Pretty much as long as you include "borrowing" magic from WHFB.
I'm hoping they go a bit further into the WFB style system next edition around. Instead of the hybrid X or more 4+ rolls on dice, just go straight casting values. Have Deny the Witch work close to dispell in Fantasy, with psykers adding their level to the total if they are targeted, Adamantium Will granting an extra die for dispell attempts for powers targeting that unit. And make generation of dice scalable, say d6 per a full 1000 points of playing.

Already heard people saying that since the Legion of Undead isn't mentioned in these FAQs that means they're an optional campaign thing and not official.
Sigh.

It may be your preference, but the Nagash book has the campaign rules and the Undead Legion rules as very clearly separate sections.

Just add .pdf to the end of the URL for the DE link and it works.
It is very, very minimal though (just two minor errata).

Absolutely nothing exciting for DE. one wording change, and making sure the Wych can take the Archite glaive and the [strike]electrocorrosive whip[/strike] agonizer like the model comes with.

When moving through DT, you just double whatever the best result you roll is for the DT test (giving you a move of between 2-12").
For the Tau they 'clarified' that if a Tau unit fires a blast weapon at a unit and gains the ignore cover ability from markerlights, but the blast then scatters onto another unit, the ignore cover rule does not apply to that new unit...which of course then leads to the new question of whether or not a 2nd (or 3rd, etc) unit covered by a blast that doesn't scatter benefits from the ignore cover bonus or not. It is a terrible ruling as written as it breaks the RAW as a FAQ (should be an errata) and then doesn't give enough info so it leaves a bunch of ambiguity.

Sooooo I gather you're saying there's more rules support for Undead Legion being an 'official' playable army, rather than the reverse? You'll have to forgive me, I don't own End Times: Nagash nor have I had the opportunity to read it. All I personally have to go on is my aversion to non-armybook armies in tournament play (looking at you too, Chaos Dwarfs) ... - Salvage

Ugh. The 40k FAQs are more insulting than they are useful. Was anyone actually asking that 'frequently asked question' about Tau? No - because the rules are actually quite clear, and now they've changed it to make it less clear! Yet they still haven't answered the question plaguing Tau since they day of their release - can you fire 2 or more weapons on overwatch? Similarly for Daemons - who was actually wanting two additional bloodletter attacks on the vehicle you never take? And in the rulebook they don't answer the multitude of actual questions people have. The Super-Heavy Walker one is a nice errata (yay! make Imperial Knights even more powerful!) but there are still dozens of questions which are more pressing.

The 50% Hero and Lord allows drops the amount of models needed to start get an army on the table. For all those people who say its just an excuse to sell large kits, why can't you just fill the extra points with single models. My vampire counts is going to enjoy taking more vampires and necromancers. Also the version of hero hammer was caused by the crazy magic item combinations that could be made. With the smaller item lists and the rules to units being steadfast, I don't think those days are coming back.

I don't want to sound nasty but it seems now that every Army Book/Codex is riddled with massive errors.
I believe that GW should be forced into a massive recall on their Army Books/Codexes books until these stupid mistakes are eradicated.
Also I just can't believe that after coming up with the rules, then battle testing them over and over again, submitting them to codex/army book then proof reading them to give final clearance,
then send them off to the printers and then get them back from China 6 months prior to release, then send them to the distribution centres 3 months prior to release, and finally then releasing them onto the market
then they finally discover the mistakes after they make a fortune on those defective books and all they do is offer a small page FAQ sheet/s.
This to me is fraud.

I'll go as I did before: the Scour ability is more of a 'debuff' to the unit previously marked (and from whom you used the 2 markers to use Scour) than a 'buff' to your weapons. Seems like RAI to me.

I can totally get behind that errata if they wanted to make it (because it makes sense), but:
A) It should have been an errata.
B) If it was presented as a FAQ like this, then the question should have been about if a blast simply 'covers' a 2nd unit. By adding the bit about the blast scattering into the mix, it adds all kind of ambiguity.

How would increasing lord choices to 50% and hero choices to 50% make them sell more models?
Wouldn't they sell less models because people would be using less core and special choices? bigger more expensive lord models maybe...but not more models lol

There was never a single weapon restriction in overwatch.
The language of overwatch is "An Overwatch attack is resolved like a normal shooting attack (albeit one resolved in the enemy’s Assault phase) and uses all the normal rules for range, line of sight, cover saves and so on"
The language of Monstrous Creatures, and Tau Multi-trackers, is "A model with a multi-tracker can fire an additional weapon in each Shooting phase." ie, not Assault Phase. But does a 'normal shooting attack' include all of the things that you would get when shooting normally in the shooting phase? What really is a 'normal' shooting attack? s a shooting attack made in the assault phase resolved like a shooting attack in the shooting phase? Does 'and so on' Why on earth is there a 'and so on' phrase in a rulebook??
I don't want to get in to a debate about it here - it has been hashed out many times in YMDC. But it has been a frequently asked question for two years and we're no closer to getting an actual answer, while the FAQ team does useless stuff like adding special rules to models no-one will use.
