Yeah, but thankfully not by my own doing. Warlord FMC Hive Tyrant starting in Glide mode. Dead opening salvo thanks to Longfangs and A mess of Riflemen Dreadnaughts and Taurox. :(

I wonder how many FMCs got killed by Markerlights in 6th? I'm sure that could qualify.

3v3, we all agree no cheese. 1250pts each. Necron ally doesn't bring CCB or Annialation Barges, Grey Knight ally brings a single NDK. I play Space Wolves, and no Thunderwolf Cav so I'm good. Grey Hunters, Rune Priest and Njal.

My opponents however...2 riptides, drone commander with drones and a Hammerhead. 1 Wraithknight, 2 Wave Serpents backed up by a Seerstar. Ork player was alright.

First turn first power, Njal perils, rolls and 1, fails his test and takes out half of the squad. On the other side of the table, Grey Knight Librarian ally does the same. Half of the Necrons army stays in reserve for almost the entire game, the other half derps in our board edge. The best they manage is when the orks exploded it and died in the explosion. Grey Knights get roflstomped by ork bikers.

Playing a tournament Tau gun line with my fluffy Word Bearers. slaughter doesn't begin to cover it. I don't mind losing... But c'mon! Pick up games are a thing of the past.

Had a friendly pick up game with my (non-tournament) Tau against White Scars grav-spam. Turn 1 my riptide, pathfinders, 2 devilfish, and 2 broadsides are dead (he went first) and turn two he charges all of my remaining units at once and tables me. Probably my worst tactically played game, but he did buy my another beer afterwards so it wasn't so bad

Most hilarious part of the game was my 2 man broadside unit dying to bolter fire. He did exactly 4 wounds and I rolled exactly 4 1's.

The most singularly crappy game I've ever had was my Mono-Khorne raptors list face off against an Eldar list.

It wasn't even a matter of Eldar being overpowered- the guy's list consisted of Maugan Ra, a full squad of Dark Reapers, and a couple maxed out guardian squads and a single wave serpent (there may have been a Fire Dragon squad- cant remember because if there was one it did nothing the entire game).

The problem was that, there were only three pieces of terrain on the entire board, one in each deployment zone and one in the middle of the board, and only one of them was a LoS-blocker (a 3'' wide tower), which was in the middle.

He castled up his Reapers in a corner of his deployment zone; we kept count of their kills over the course of the match and they'd managed to kill all thirty-two of the raptors (counting the attached jump-lords) and something like 3/4ths of the 4x10 CSM squads- the storm guardians killed the remainder. I was tabled at the end of turn 5.

A very frustrating game, to say the least. One of the dark sides of playing the game over the internet is that the maps are all pre-made, so you can't be like "eh, this table's kind of sparce... think I'm gonna add some cover to it."

Not to mention that I'm one of only two people in my meta who don't gunline, and asking to use maps with more cover often gets me a hesitant "sure" followed by uncomfortable silence.

The dreaded game of a million ones. I forgot to give my weekly sacrifice to the dice gods, and they frowned upon me greatly. Never have so many wounds and saves been failed.

My Dark Angels vs Grey Knights.

My Devastator lascannon team, first turn firing, 2 of the 3 miss, the third doesn't score a wound. Second turn 2 of the 3 hit, one of those doesn't wound. Turn three killed gunned down, failed 4 saves and the last guy ran.

3 man bike squad with a plasma. Plasma gets hot, guy dies. Bikes try to move into difficult, bikes wreck, one dies, the third runs off the board.

Venerable Dreadnought in close combat with two grey knights. 3 hits, 3 failed wounds. They take off my third hull point because they have hammerhand active.

My librarian and command squad in rhino, rhino blows up, random wound goes to apothecary, kills him. Next turn librarian perils using only 2 dice, rolls a 1, rest of command squad pulled into the warp.

I bought new dice right after that game.

The mighty Daemon Prince Blightvien ploughs into a squad of mewling Tau. He has been wounded many times but death is in his heart and he fears not the rifles wielded as clubs. His great claws rend them, their screams filling his ears, making his heart race with joy, only a few remain. Then, from no where, a loan pathfinder round houses him square in the funsacks, sending him back to warp for 101 years, confused and begging for an answer to how!

The dark behind the eyes.

I was playing a 2v2 - SM and my IG against GK and SW.

Most of my ally's points were in a assault terminator squad, accompanied by a Chapter Master in a Land Raider.

The worst moment was watching him throw away the entire unit to kill a single GKSS. Basically, in doing so, he'd put them in the firing line of a Plasma Cannon, and in charge range of a GK terminator squad with a Grand Master, plus some TWC with a SW Lord. That was something like 600pts down the drain in a single turn.

After that, I held out for as long as I could.

Most recently, I've been playing a pretty fun opponent. He picks DEldar. Mkay, I can roll with that. He proceeds o field a Wave Serpent with Wraithguard with their bullgak flamers and a deathstar unit with a Farseer, Archon, 10 Wraithguard with S10 AP2 weapons and a 2++ rerollable on the Archon. He then fills out his army with as many Skimmers with Dark Lances as he can. Most bullgak army I've ever played.

Charging my DP (with the instant death melee attacks warlord trait no less) at a riptide.

Spectacularly missed all 6 attacks, and then got squashed by its smash attack.

Not a fun way to lose a 355 point model and warlord.
