Wow, those are really good scratch builds of the Avenger's weapons!

It would appear I have only ever modified one WM/H miniature, and it's a really old one from 2007 but here goes:

Well you certainly rocked the paint job on your one-and-only conversion, RunicFIN! Nicely done!

Thanks. Im thinking with the Khador army I'm starting to paint soon I would be a bit more bold ( I have already converted a plastic Juggernaut into Beast-09 but I don't know if that really counts, he just looks like B9... )

Definitely counts man, it's a common conversion and a good 'un!
Damn, this Khador army in the MWG battle report. Haven't watched it so can't say if its their usual WM/H fair or if it's a decent battle, but the Khador army is a work of love. Not excessive conversions, but it shows how a strong painting theme can do wonders for an army

The MWG guys are certainly decent hobbyists and good painters, but they're terrible players and seem to make no effort at improving their skill level.
Every batrep of theirs I watch I end up yelling at the screen because they play a very simple rule wrong, forget something incredibly basic, very sloppy movement and measurement, and just general bad gameplay.
Matt can't even remember the names of his own models.

The terrain, where is the terrain!? We always have something somewhere in the middle to make things more interesting.

Can we not just appreciate the Bane-quest? I get in the same groove as you do Grey, with regards to almost yelling at the screen, but we can complain about MWG's batrep quality in a thread not about peoples good looking models

Master scavenger that he is, Magnus got hold of a wrecked Protectorate Revenger & Cygnar Lancer, and rebuilt them into Renegades.
Ghetorix, based on the Extreme Warpwolf model. I never liked the pose of the original Extreme, which was just kind of waving its hands randomly in the air, but I like how this turned out. The hardest part was getting the hands to line up with the axe haft--I ended up cutting it into about four different pieces, extending it with greenstuff, then pinning them all back together. Technically, it's not a legal conversion, but I check in advance with tournament organisers, and I've never had a problem with using it under the "organiser's discretion" rule--there's only one warpwolf with a big axe, after all.
The last thing that more than one heavy has seen.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich." |
