I am pretty surprised you were able to beat a dwarf army with this list. You must have gotten a lucky Purple sun or something. Or the dwarf player didn't go with the traditional gun line style army

A level 4 on an abyssal terror seems...insane. His only save would be a 5++ and his mount has no save of any kind. Didn't people just shoot at him? Or were you relying on target saturation?

Also why 10 direwolves? Doesn't seem like it would add anything over 5 save to make that unit a lot less expendable.

Roster was a total waste of points) but I have a lot of ideas after that tourney

10 wolves do not die on charge in unit of 10-15 bowmen

1 cannon, 1 grudge thrower, irondrakes, thunderers & a lot of LOS block on table. Hexwraiths and terrorgheist has won that game.

I don't like the way your lords are built. Both of them should have red fury and quick blood is much better than dark acolyte. I would personally drop the varghulf and just take the 2nd terrorgheist as rare. Maybe drop the strigoi altogether and get a unit of crypt horrors, or a black knight unit for your vampire lord to ride around with

Yes, you`re right. No BSB, killable lord (2-3 Heroes with Savage beast of Horrors) in unit of ghouls. Amber spear & cannons & poison arrows & banisment kill both Terrorgeheist.

1 Vampire Lord (General; Lore of Vampires; Heavy armour; Shield; Magic Level 4; Talisman of Preservation; Ogre Blade; The Other Tricksters Shard; Quickblood; Red Fury) on Hellsteed

1 Vampire (Battle Standard Bearer; Magic Level 2; Lore of Beasts; Lance; Shield; Armour of Destiny; Forbidden Lore) on Coven Throne

1 Necromancer (lvl 1, Dispel Scroll)

1 Tomb Banshee

1 Tomb Banshee

1 Terrorgheist

3 Vargheists + 1 Vargoyle

7 Dire Wolves

8 Dire Wolves

22 Zombies Standard; Musician

20 Zombies Standard; Musician

32 Crypt Ghouls + 1 Ghast

2 Bat Swarm

Zombies + standard + music it is real fun )

Wolves is bunker for Lord on hellsteed

the 2 banshee is not so easy to kill, I think/

On last Weekend 2 banshee and Terrorgheist (with 2 wounds) didn`t kill 1 Soulgrinder (with 2 wound)...

I think my army is hating me

If your VL is going to run solo on a Hellsteed then he needs a charmed shield, period. Otherwise it will only take two cannonballs to the face before he dies and your army starts falling apart.

Drop the banshees for another unit of 4 vargheists. The banshees will do nothing for you, but the vargs can run with your flying VL and wreck face.

I'd split those units up into units of 5, and squeeze in a 4th one. By screening the dogs with the TG/vargs you can mitigate how many hits they'll take from shooting, and just bounce your VL to a new one. You might also consider running them 4+champ at 2-wide, so that the front rank of them is just the VL plus a champ who can only take one wound if the enemy is attacking all at the same I step.

If you can find the points, put Aura of Dark Majesty on that CT vamp. The -1 might help him break stuff.

Rulebook 8th

".......If a lone character is hit by a shooting attack of any kind (including shots fired using ballistic skill, templates and so on) a "Look Out Sir!" roll can be attempted, provided there is a friendly unit consisting of five or more models of the character's troop type within 3"....................."

"..........a character cannot join a unit of monsters (too much danger of being stood on), a unit of flyers (too many ill-disciplined wings buffeting the sky), a unit of chariots (too much danger of being run over), a unit of swarms (too much chance of being eaten) or a war machine (too much danger of being obliterated). Similarly, a character that is itself a monster, or riding a monster or a chariot cannot join other units — it's just too dangerous for the members of the unit............."

VL on hellsteed can not join to vargs (because they are FLying), VL would not get "Look Out Sir!" (because they are Mi). They are too glassy and expensive for divert.

On this week I will try something like this

1 Vampire Lord ( General; Lore of Vampires; Lance; Shield; Magic Level 4; Armour of Destiny; Dawn Stone; Quickblood; Red Fury; Dispel Scroll) on Hellsteed

1 Vampire (BSB; Lance; Heavy
armour; Enchanted Shield; Talisman of Preservation ) on Coven Throne

5 Dire Wolves
5 Dire Wolves

2 Fell Bats

2 Fell Bats

30 Zombies(Standard; Musician)

30 Zombies (Standard; Musician)

55 VM Skeleton Warriors (FCG; Banner of the Eternal Flame)

9 Black Knights ( Barding; Lance; FCG; Banner of the Barrows)

1 Terrorgheist

1 Terrorgheist

This roster versus Chaos Demons (DP Tzeench 4 lvl (Metal) + great Reward, herald of Khorne on Juggernaut + 2 lesser reward in box of 20 bloodletters FCG, herald of Nurgle + 2 lesser reward on Palanquin in box of 29 plagbearers FCG; 2 Cannons of Khorne, Soulgrinder of Nurgle + stone thrower; 1 Seeker of Slaanesh )

Obviously. I'm using "run with" in the sense that they can support and combo-charge together out on a flank. Varg champ can eat challenges (and with 5S5 attacks is actually pretty decent at getting underdog points). It's a mean combo.

Your VL is garbage after the first round of combat. S5 just isn't good enough, and he'll die to SCR. He needs an ogre blade, or a potion of strength in the very least.

Coven throne is a suboptimal choice, but you know that going in. It can do work but at 500 points you can get a second VL for that who is a much stronger, more flexible choice.

BotB isn't doing work on 9 black knights: swap it out for Banner of Swiftness.

2 Terrorgheists is...meh. Yeah the internet says it's the best build but there are too many matchups where terrorgheists are dead points. I would always rather 1 terrorgheist, 1 unit of 4 vargheists, and a spirit host for roughly the same points. Unless you're tailoring lists, then the double scream is better against knight lists or warriors.
