Roughly how many miniatures per side? As you will be using resin this will effect the outcome of the price, to many miniatures per side will get expensive fast.

The Demons update - Terror Cultist

Today it’s time for The Demons – see the Terror Cultist renders!

The cultists from the Terror Caste are taking up the shapes of animals frightening to the human beings and lurk in the shadows, performing actions to spread fear, disarray and destroy the opponent’s morale.

There is also a version without the robe – which one do you like more?

We’ve recently made a new wargear option for the cultist – two versions of a special lantern that shines in the terrifying, red light and burning away the substance that rises the anxiety in anyone who will be unfortunate enough to smell it.

Which one cultist do you like more – the one with robe or the one without it? Which lantern option you consider better – the ribcage one or the skull only? What other fear-spreading devices can you imagine the Terror cultist to use?

Agreed! And this latest mini (the terror cultist) is just as cool, imo. Love that you've shown resin casts and not just renders. Looking very promising!

I like both the cloaked and non cloaked version, I could see using them for different things. Same with the lanterns. They're all awesome . Still would love some sort of mask or visor head for the pilgrim, though!

Definitely robed.

I like the robed Terror Cultist better too. The comparison reminds me of the scene from the Dark crystal where the disgraced Skekses is stripped of his robes, and loses whatever majesty he had.

The only thing I don't like about the robed Terror Cultist is the back of the render, which seems too plain. You might want to overlay some tattered robes or belts or decoration or something to give it some visual interest. That said, the front of the robed Terror Cultist is, in my opinion, the bes tthing you've shown so far.

I don't care for massively oversized weapons like the mace that the knight is wielding.

The Faceless have a lot of potential, but the berserker isn't doing it for me yet. As far as biomechanical monsters go, so far I prefer the direction Sedition Wars went with the Strain. Ultimately I hope you'll have some less anthropomorphic, perhaps more Lovecraftian Faceless beasts in the mix as well.

Non-robe version is going to be bought and is going to be Scarecrow. Its just going to happen.

Dammit, another set of models I have to watch for.

Yes, please make both versions! My only reservation with the robe is sometimes they look better in a render than the actual cast. I really like the unrobed version and think if it wasn't being compared side-by-side it wouldn't feel like it was "missing" the robe. Like drazz, I will totally be getting that one

The Berserker is just the first model from the faction we've shown - there will be more of them and of various structure - less-humanoid as well. Stay tuned to the thread, ultimately we'll share this one as well.

We’ve been silent for some time, but we’ve been preparing something really big!

Finally, the long awaited day has come – we’re proudly presenting you first three casts of our Angel of Death! We’re so excited about them and the casts are of really good quality!

We’re going to give them to our best painters, so they’ll put some paint on them! Do you have any suggestions of the paint scheme, basing options or some interesting things and details you’d like to see on The Chapter’s centerpiece model? Feel free to share with us and do not hesitate, your idea might be incorporated to one of the very first paintjobs of Angel of Death!

I can't see much in the pic, but that is indeed very exciting! Looking forward to seeing one assembled (hopefully with an unpainted pic) and then painted

For painting suggestions, I'd love to see a clockwork / bronze scheme!

Remember the three Angels of Death casts we’ve shared with you two days ago? We’ve given them to our three best painters and let their imagination flow through the strokes of brush onto the models. Today we are presenting you the first one – how do you like it?

And with a Pilgrim to show the scale of the model:

Soon you may expect another one to follow!

And stay tuned – when the last of the angelic trinity will be revealed, we’ll have a nice surprise to you! Keep an eye to know what it may be.

Thank you for all of the support you’ve given us !

OK, that's a little larger than I was expecting, and probably a bit too tall for me, I'll be sticking to the smaller guys

It’s time for another update!

We’ve been sharing with you a Demons unit some time ago, today it’s time for a new Demon to emerge from the portals. We present to you the Master of Elements concept art – the model will be a part of the Demons starter set – you can find it on kickstarter page

This one is a member of the Intelligence Caste and is able to use the arcane power of the crystals to gain control over the powers of nature to either use their raw potential to bring destruction to the enemy or to influence his own kind on the battlefield.

How do you like him and what kind of specific abilities would you like him to possess?

Hello there,

After we’ve shared the Angel of Death for the first time, many people didn’t liked the design of the mechanical scythe, opting for the more traditional one. We were thinking about it and came up with 11 various designs! Now we’re presenting all of them to you and we’re eager to hear which one of them you would like as an alternative?
