I am not 100% sure - maybe ask the original poster? I don't remember seeing any when I visited last week, but then I wasn't looking. I have no interest in Infinity, so if it was there I probably would have completely missed it.

You should come out and buy my stuff though!

So Cal Games and comics is not currently carrying infinity... But they are looking to branch out... There may be infinity at the mini swap meet!

I hate to resurrect the dead, but I have 2 very important questions to ask:

1. Will the tables be inside or outside?

2. Is your store air conditioned?

Worried about the return of last weekend's heat wave?

Dude, it's only Temecula - how hot could it get?

I assume you're joking because I've never stepped out of the car in any town on the 215 and thought to myself, "I want to continue living."

I don't do well in the heat. I think I'm part Mogwai.

215? I'm not familiar with that freeway, so I'm just assuming that's on the poor side of I-405.

Heat-wise, over 80 is unacceptable. That's why we have AC, even though we live in a beach city.

It's only 80 where you live? Did it hail on the beach there a couple weeks ago? How is it so cool?

The 215 and the 15 seem to meet at Temecula. Not my favorite freeways.

Anyway, I plan to be there with my meager treasures.

That's close to the new developments in Menifee I think.. I've got friends out there.

It hit 90 over the weekend - much too hot!

We missed the hail, wrong beach.

Today, it's in the low 70s - the cooling effect of the Pacific is why it's preferable (and crazy expensive!) to be coastal vs inland.

All kidding aside, I do hope the weather cooperates for you, even if I might not be making the long drive.

A big you to you and your 70 degree weather.

It was stuck in the mid 90s in our neck of the woods.

I swear, every time Brookhurst does their bring and buy I find out at the very last minute.

Having lived near the 60/ 215 interchange in Riverside when I went to school out there, I know exactly what Bob is talking about in regards to the temperatures in that area. Unpleasant to say the least.

So I too shall echo the sentiment, does the place have AC?

Hopefully my wife lets me off my hobby leash that weekend, as I've been put on restriction for being a bit too trigger happy on ebay.

Woops.

I don't mind the jelly.

I was all set to go to BH, but work happened.

I only go that way en route to Vegas. Or if corp travel puts me into Ontario instead of "Orange" (no, it's NOT the same!).

I've been putting "too much" into Kickstarter myself - I'm not sure whether it's worse than the eBay habit I kicked.

Hi All,

All the tables will be inside and the store is air conditioned. Living in the inland empire air conditioning is a given. I'll keep an eye on these posts!

Looking forward to it - especially the indoor AC! I was at Brookhurst last weekend, (as was our Inquisitor friend "Bob") and I almost didn't get a spot indoors at all. I feel sorry for the guys who were stuck in the outdoor tent - it was too dang hot!

I sold a nice bit of stuff at Brookhurst, but actually got a TON of stuff in the mail the day after. I've been organizing it, and hope to do even better there in Temecula

So it sounds like Brookhurst had a good turn out. Wish I'd known about it sooner than the day before. Looking forward to going to this. Hopefully Tamburlaine will be able to go as well.

I must have been out of the GW Hobby too long, but the first thing you said makes no sense, and the second, isn't that already the retail price? Let me just go to the GW site...

Huh. must have just suffered heat stroke. Lost consciousness a bit there. Thank goodness your store is air conditioned so that won't happen again. How's parking?

At BH, I sold $10 worth of stuff! But I bought $30 worth. Oh well, maybe things will be different in Temecula.

Oh, and Catharsix is a cool, friendly guy, so everyone buy his stuff. Except for the stuff I want. Don't buy that.

Lol I meant long fangs, terminators... And I like to package stuff ahead of time in baggies with a suggested price

Indeed buy my stuff! I've got a bunch of awesome stuff, mostly great individual valuable bits and general bulk bits...

We'll be there, most likely bringing our teenage cousin with us.

I'll have an eclectic assortment of things with me- tyranids, warmahordes, D&D/ Pathfinder prepaints, Mantic stuff.

I guess I turn this stuff over to the shop, get credit, and can then go haggle over stuff?

I don't think it works that way. At least at BH, we were responsible for our own table space full of stuff, and had to go full Watto if we wanted to trade or sell bits. It sounds like SoCal Games and Comics' event will work the same way.

Hopefully we'll see some of you there. Barzam has a video games live shirt on, while the king of the monsters graces my illustrious personage. Don't be a stranger!

Got a pile of nids, rats, treemen, giant Bones stuff and other junk the wife wants out of the house. Help me out!

Had a blast there. The turnout was impressive in both quality and quantity. I sold a lot, but walked away with more, so much more. I made friends. I learned lessons. I laughed and cried and laughed again. 10 out of 10, would attend again.

I feel fortunate to have witnessed Highlord Tamburlaine highlording it up in person. Here is my artist's interpretation.

Can someone tell me how to rotate that image, please? Also, the version in my gallery looks better.

Indeed, this is an accurate representation. I had a good time, too. Wound up with a few interesting things, too. I would do one of these again as well, though hopefully, next time I can actually bring some stuff to swap.

That is a pretty accurate portrait of me, isn't it?

I will have to use that in lieu of my current avatar. Thanks Bob!

Had a good time meeting all you fellow Dakka-ites. It was both sad and amusing that my reputation proceeded me. As soon as I would open my mouth, people figured out who I was. More than one person even recognized me from Kickstarter comments! Crazy.

I'd be up for it again. I know there's got to be a lot more Southern California Dakka lurkers out there than just those who attended. Join us!

Wanted tho throw out a thank you to all the Dakka-ites who attended. It was great meeting everyone. I'm glad you had a good time. I picked up a couple bits from the bits godfather and had fun talking to everyone. Hope to see everyone next time! We are thinking about holding this event once in spring and once in fall.

Thanks for organizing it. The store was spacious, clean and exciting, located in a nice area with convenient access to food. I enjoyed meeting so many cool gamers and hobbyists, especially the dakkaites. I also went home with an unbelievable amount of stuff.

I definitely want to be at the next one.

He was in the red Godzilla shirt. Funny guy. Looked a bit like The Daily Show's Jason Jones with the Person of Interest guy's hair and glasses. And the large, scaly frill. How did you miss the frill?

He was selling the sentinels and a treeman.
