Why does this discussion prevent the discussion of any of the other things you mentioned?

I'm confused actually. Did people really expect this event to be anything but randomized electronically and determined when you originally placed the order?

I think I'd be more surprised if GW didn't just generate randomly the winners when the order is placed.
