First of all, thank you to Buttery Commissar (spelling?) for arranging everything this month. I had a blast! Now, fluff and stuff. Unlimited pics right? Thirteen of 'em incoming.
"What do we do Sir!?"
Guardsman Jonah shouted. He was aiming his flamer at an approaching Tyranid, a fierce creature, that had killed all of his squadmates. The ground around him was on fire. "We have to warn the
HQ, we should run for it!"
Captain Hogar shook his head. A beheaded Tyranid laid at his feet, his chainsword covered in blood. Human blood. He had been forced to kill several of his friends after they had been wounded by the monsters.
"We won't make it if be both run... You go. I'll distract them."
Jonah's jaw dropped. "What? No, you can't do that!"
"Yes, I can. You run. Run as fast as you can. Get to the
HQ. Warn them. And Jonah..."
Jonah turned around and faced his captain, just in time to see him running against the edge of a cliff, preparing to jump.
"NEVER TELL ME THE OOOOOODDS!"
Jonah heard the fizz of a plasma pistol being fired and a chainsword whirring. He knew that although his captain was going down, he was going down in style.
