They supplant the old ranks and maybe take more of a front row approach, but I wouldn't get rid of my old stuff. If plastic Valhallans came out tomorrow, maybe they'd be the platoon I used every game, but I'd still use my other platoons alongside them.

Ha!
I rarely buy new models, I mostly go to ebay to buy quirky, oldhammer style figures! Aside from the Orks, where I'm too invested in the plastics, I don't much care for and generally avoid the newer models. Don't like how they've gotten bigger with time.

What a perfect forum for my question!!
I have older Chaos models. I have two Dreadnaughts, but they are not referenced in the current codex. It has been replaced, I am told, by the Helbrute. Am I allowed to play my Dreadnaughts? If so, what stats and options do I use?
Thanks for any assistance.

Chaos Dread rules can be found in IA13 (imperial armor book from FW). Alternatively proxy them as the HB as you said.

Weapon options are more or less the same, as are the stats. Field em. There are varying degrees of corruption, after all. There are Forge World rules for the classic dreadnought in IA13 however.

How utterly wasteful.
I never 'update' anything. If I still use it, I keep it.
The only stuff I sell/give away are things that I just wont be using anymore and even then most stuff ends up in a box anyway.

I think the correct description of the above post is "back of the net"
