The teppo Ronin, i think. That unit are not released.
In a short future will be a normal release.

Four days to go on this campaign and it's looking pretty good to me; a nice amount of stuff included in the core set, and there's also a ton of options as you can get living samurai from their existing range in place of the undead if you like. I think they've said that pretty much their whole range will be available in the pledge manager at a good discount, so a €1 token pledge might be worth considering. Just sayin'.

Some really fantastic looking stuff in this KS, and although it's not that cheap if you go OTT the starter/core sets are very reasonably priced for the quality of sculpt.

I'm looking forward to it forming the basis of a big new Undead Samurai project should it arrive when planned.

Project Update #17: Kensei Undead by Zenitminiatures‏

Hey guys

Time for a fast update!

The production is at 50-60% of the fulfillment, with most of the models already done in metal. The Yurei Samurais are on the modeling process, together with the three heroes from the Stretch Goals. Also, the Yumi Ashigaru are modeled, and in 20-25 days, they will be ready for the metal mould process.

We are setting up Backerkit, to hopefully have the pledge manager ready at the end of the month. It will come with some surprises, so stay tuned!

Everything is running smoothly and fast, we are working hard towards an early completion. Thank you very much!

I remember you that the pledge manager is in your mail ; ) we add apart of the miniatures of the campaign, all the range of kensei, Torii and more news miniatures for your undead army.

Hmn, though I'd probably wind up buying loose blisters of this stuff for fantasy games. Undead Samurai would do for the remains of the Akaviri which invaded Tamriel for my Morrowind themed Frostgrave games.

Wow.. normally I prefer my undead with a medieval European look but these are AWESOME. I need to check my budget see if I can throw down for a set.

Some are sculpted by Juan Diaz (who sculpted some of the GW Dark Eldar character range), the whole range generally just looks so characterful.

I'm planning on getting what I can from this KS, then using buildings and 'filler' for units from mixed Warlord Ashi-garu and skeleton kits.

As a small note, just going through my pledge manager now and it's notable that there are a number of miniatures that weren't unlocked (or else didn't appear in the KS) that are now available to add to order

Such as the under banner holder, Oni and 'Ghost Samurai' - definitely some pretty cool concepts in there!

Have ended up adding rather more than I intended to to my final pledge

Received a small (although very heavy) box from Spain yesterday. I haven't had a proper chance to look yet but it looks to be the core set plus some additional miniatures that I pledged for.

First signs are very positive, inspected a few of the Samurai and Spearmen and they have a very fine level of detail - will post more when I have given them a more thorough inspection!

But great news for backers that it looks like the KS packages are now being sent internationally.

I received mine yesterday as well. I'm pretty impressed. The quality of miniatures is nice. I only pledged for the starter, but it's still quite a bit of metal once all the stretch goals were included. i like how they included a 20% discount coupon in the package as well. Will definitely be taking advantage of it.

I also find myself wishing I'd backed at a much higher level, but I've become much more conservative with KS, especially with companies I haven't backed before.

Have to say, it's extremely rare for a miniatures KS to pack that many stretch goals in and make their dates without sacrificing quality

Honestly these minis would fit right in with Mierce Darklands.

Yes think they would be pretty good for a range of games, the oriental/far east spin adds a bit of character to the standard Undead idea.

I'm most likely going to use for a 9th Age army,you've got most of the unit types covered, and could probably sub in monsters from Mierce or GW.

Yes the coupon is a nice touch, helps bring the price down as I'll definitely be expanding some units.

Really impressed as well by how quickly they have produced some of the character sculpts (and can't get over how small and fine some of the detail is on them!)

You guys are getting me excited to receive my pledge.

I plan to use the models as an Undead army for Wargods of Aegyptus. Yay for more metal!
