My biggest complaint with infinity bikers is first off they are expensive box sets....second off they dont even come with everything you need to play them.

I mean come on if your going to charge $30+ for a box set at least put in the foot model as well since they have the option to dismount.

Ehh the bike is more metal than the model to begin with.

I'm not sure if I like the desperadoes as much as I was hoping I would. They kind of break up the cleaner military look of the rest of the army so far. They're fine in a vacuum, but I dunno if I want them joining my current USARF dudes.

Unless the bikers are specialists and have to enter an objective room there is no need to dismount them.

We've known for a loooooooooong time that this was how they were going to look. CB's explanation is that these guys aren't military, but rather backwoods-y types.

There's tons of reasons to make it so that the dismounted versions are included, most notably the fact that they have the option to Dismount period.

Waw!

When 2015's products are posted in a format like that, all assembled together it's pretty hard to deny the place Corvus Belli have within the industry for producing some truly jaw dropping minis!

Truly tremendous! Also cheers Kanluwen, from the previous thread your comment of the USAriadna minis looking better irl (the posing) than their stock advertisement images suggested was spot on, as I experienced myself recently!

Not certain I'm convinced with these latest bikers especially as they don't even look like convincing all terrain scrambler variants that I was imagining from the background material. I would love to see Corvus Belli's take on a dune buggy or 4x4 all terrain vehicle as a form of variation to bikes however, which leaves me feeling this release could have been so much more. Nitpicking to the extreme, I know. Corvus Belli have raised the bar so high and continue to do so on a regular basis now, 'tis great!

Yup, a lot of whining for some thing that averages 1 a month. So like 12 out of 100+ new scuplts over the year.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Oh, hell yes. That cowboy biker is exactly what I wanted from USAriadna!

Also, I don't mind tactical rocks. Sometimes, I even like what they add to a pose.

Cowboy USAriadna and tactical rocks... I am a divisive iconoclast with controversial tastes.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

I love the new bikers, although can see the concern that they don't fit in that closely with the USAriadne pack (and matching that aesthetic). In the same way that the kum bikers don't mix well with some Haqqislam.

But as stand-alone miniatures they are beauts, I'll get them just to paint up as a homage to that film and concept.

I really, really wanted a Man With No Name dismounted mini - I had dreams of using him as an ABH, optional bike at the ready just in case I roll it up.

Would have made a nice change of scene for my painting.

Please, please, please CB!

Do we have their profiles already? I'm not seeing them on Army.

I like them. I think if we hadnt already been blown away by the Kum releases they would be getting a more enthusiastic reaction.

Like the Kum they have nods to the style of the faction without being 'in uniform'.

That way,then left

No we don't, the USAriadna booklet had example lists that included an 11pt (not 6, I mixed stuff up) Chain-rifle toting desperado and a 13pt one with submachine gun
From that we also know that they're Irregular and impetuous (not a big surprise)

That is one of the reasons CB started the Bootleg line. Units with model option not normal seen, like Pilots. Dismounted biker would fit good here.

Only Yojimbo has a dismounted mini. The LE maverick, I'm not counting here. Why did Yojimbo get one? Popular demand. A fair number of official forum members requested it-- including yours truly-- and we had a thread essentially demanding it etc.

If one wants a dismounted Desperado, I suggest sending an email to CB, or a PM to one of the CBer's ( Koni or Bostria) via the official forum, and request it. Personally, I think a 2 pack blister of dismounted maverick and desperado would be very cool.

Kasym Beg also has a dismounted mini.

I'm thinking of picking up some Jaguars to modify as dismounted Kum bikers.

Dismounted bikers should definitely be on the to do list IMO.

And so should manned TAGs have one too. You're right in that point, though the only reason IMO.

A biker forced to dismount happened only once during my ~200 played, viewed or judged games so far. Even on dense tables there was always enough space for the bikes (private and tournament games) to manoevre through or around terrain pieces, S4 is taller than most of the in general used scatter terrain pieces e.g. crates, barrels ... Ironically this one time wasn't actually forced and my opponent could use his dismounted Maverick model form the USARF starter box to get into the objective room (Beacon Race).

Isn't it a general release for a set amount of time? My FLGS has it for pre order.

edit

Desperados look great. Bikers are one of those units that I really disliked about the game until the Kum release and I started using them a lot. Their speed in open areas offset by their inability unless dismounted to navigate narrow spaces makes for some fun uses. Plus their speed makes for a nice surprise when people don't expect it - I had a Kum Chain Rifle speed across a board in one turn to wipe out a Zanshi link in one shot. My brother didn't see that coming.

I might try to figure out how to source a couple of Kum choppers on the cheap, because they'd be badass additions to my Kum gang. I only have 8, I need more!

Your FLGS can probably get it too...

I'm actually rather impressed by the bikers. Nice models. I agree the biker thing getting out of control a little, but these might be my favorite ones so far.
The only one I bothered buying is Penny though.

That is awesome - thanks for posting it!

That campaign isn't a BoW thing though, right?

That image also reminds me - I'm about to buy the Achilles combo box, but only want the regular version. If someone in the USA wants to split it with me for the 'limited' one, PM me!

Firestorm is a BoW thing, they will run the whole thing from what we know.

The second Achilles will come in handy if you every want to Holo Achilles little friend as him.
