In the latest update (#5) Printable Scenery.com have posted the following images of the printed work so far on the Frigate:
(above) 28mm scale close ups
(above) one scaled to 60% (15mm scale)
There is a good YouTube video up showing the Water Mill from the original Winterdale kickstarter at:

Now just under half way to the ruined Winterdale Castle - Walls and Towers ruins.

News from the comments and updates on this kickstarter.
The Frigate will come as two options, with and without the carvings shown. Also the Frigate will come as printable in 4 sections on a 150 x 150 print bed and 8 sections on a 100 x 100 print bed.
Here are the sketches for the Dias from the Stone Ruins pack, the Archway in the Dias is 100mm wide, the colums will be able to print seperately and in various degrees of ruination, this will allow the columns to be printed and used on other scenery.
Currently PrintableScenery.com are putting together a Trees, Road, and River package.
Still heading towards the Winterdale Ruins - at NZ$40,000, just NZ$1,710 to go. Following the 'Winterdale in Ruins, Walls and Towers' stretch goal the next will be another WWII French Houses (both ruined and unruined) at NZ$45,000.
A lot of talk presently about bridges in the comments, some seem to want the Arnhem Bridge in all its glory (and length) - I think the thought might be sending Matt and his team to seek medical help!
Still well over 22 days to go, and a lot more will be delivered in this kickstarter.

The 'Winterdale in Ruins - Walls and Towers' has been unlocked.
The next stretch goal at NZ$45,000 is another historical stretch goal, the WWII stretch goal will be to be able to turn the previous house into a general store.
Also this morning in an update it has been announced that there will be a vote starting tomorrow to take place on PrintableScenery.com's Facebook page and in the comments section of the kickstarter for three more stretch goals to be added (one from each category of Historic, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi), from the following list:
HISTORY
- Arnhem bridge
- Caribbean style housing
- Viking longhouse
- Cafe Rene
- D-Day Bunker with tank traps and wire entanglements
FANTASY
- Stables
- Hobbit Homes
- Winterdale Naval Batteries
- The fortress of grim skulls!
SCI-FI
- Steam-punk Bunker
- Dystopian Hab-blocks and walkways
- Shipping Containers and extended piping
- Gothic factory silo
(I think the 'Arnhem Bridge' actually means just one end of the bridge! )
(I would appreciate it if others could also post updates just so that I will not be thought of as spamming the site .)

Another stretch goal unlocked, the 3rd WWII building.
Next stretch goal is the Aztec Ruins at $50,000 NZD. Then the results of the polls (which close on Monday) will decide which Fantasy, Historic, and Sci-Fi stretch goals are next.
Less than 16 days remaining.

Just been announced that following the poll of backers the next lot of stretch goals after the 'Aztec Ruins' will be:
Fantasy Section
Halfling Homes at $55,000 NZD
Historic Section
Normandy Bunker at $60,000 NZD
Sci-Fi Section
Hab-blocks at $65,000 NZD
Also they hope to announce add-ons by the end of the week. (My poor wallet. )
@Jebsonic - The Winterdale kickstarter completed at $40,074 NZD, then Winterdale 2 completed at US$31,252 (circa. $44,377 NZD), and now this one at just gone the halfway stage is just approaching $46,000 NZD. You are right, 'Apocalypse Ruins' looks like it could well double that by the end.

I got myself a Wanhao Duplicator. I havent used it yet but the creator of this kickstarter uses them (among others) and told me it was good for printing his terrain.
Someone with more knowledge may be able to help out though.

have you got a university/college nearby they may well have 3d printing services or clubs,
some libraries have them (seems to be mainly in the US)
there are a wide variery of 3d printing hubs (try googling the phrase and your area)

Do we know if there will be any "mixing and matching"? For example there's a specific Sci-fi trench which is offered with the base sci-fi pledge, but any idea if we could ask for it to be subbed for a WW2 trench?
Or if we could double-down on the 50$ pledge to get twice as much of one specific genre, as opposed to having to get the base kit for multiples?

Past the $55,000 NZD mark so the Halfling Homes are unlocked.
Next stretch goal is the 'Normandy Bunkers' at $60,000 NZD.
Also announced that 'Citadel Grim Skull' is to be made an add-on and free to those that take the 'Everything pledge'.
Just under 8 days still to go, this is turrning out great as a kickstarter.
@MorganFreeman - I do not think there is mixing and matching, but with the three base levels and three mixed levels (choosing any two of the base levels) and the everything pledge level it would seem it would be a total nightmare to arrange individual item swaps. Remember though that if it were just the WWII trench you were after in one level then they will be available in the future from PrintableScenery.com's website as individual purchases.

@ssisal - Send Matt a message on Kickstarter explaining your situation, I don't know if he will be able to help but it might be worth a couple of minutes typing to ask him.

"Morganfreeman" this is going to be software for a 3D printer not a physical product.
So doubling down will not help you much.

@Sissal - Glad it worked out. He does seem very approachable to me.
Anyway just 43 hours to go now.
The 'Barbarian Encampment' at $70,000 NZD was unlocked and now the 'Caribbean House (British Style)' has also just been unlocked at $75,000 NZD.
The next stretch goal is the 'Satellite Installation' at $80,000 NZD.
Will this reach $100,000 NZD ?
They have also made available some add-ons of some of the buildings from the previous Winterdale series for those that had missed them.
As I say just 43 hours to go.
(Sorry I have let the updates to this thread slip, had a tooth removed and then problems ending up in hospital for a couple of days, , but back for the last 2 days. )
Automatically Appended Next Post: The $80,000 NZD stretch goal has been breached! The 'Satellite Installation' is now unlocked.

I'm really happy this Kickstarter turned out so great. I'm still pretty overwhelmed of the whole stuff i will get now, i thought for my 45€ i would get some stone ruins and in the best case 3 french houses i can use for Malifaux
Congratulations to Matt and the others, you delivered awesome work so far!
Now i can only hope that the nzd falls a bit again so the money i put on my prepaid-creditcard will suffice and you get your money as fast as possible :(

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too! |
