Is the BoB a one off thing, or is there plans to expand it to other air battles?

To be honest I'm mostly interested in the models, 6mm, 1/285, 1/300 is a good scale for dogfighting games

Is that raised panel line detail? And are the symbols (balkenkreuz, roundels) raised details as well as appears to be in the images? Are the decals stickers or waterslide?

GBP 150 gets you one copy of Battle of Britain with hand painted airplane models with roundel, cross and tail marking decals applied. All 21 model airplanes in the retail game plus the 4 stretch goal extra models not in the retail game (Stuka, Blenheim, Defiant and Gladiator)

If you want to go for a Dowding and have already pledged, just cancel your existing pledge and repledge for the Dowding. Anyone who hasn't joined the Kickstarter yet, watch out for Early Bird Flight Sergeant deals that might come available as some backers upgrade to Dowdings!

Congratulations on the successful campaign. Though it seems a bit redundant for a company like PSC to be going for KS exclusives, so I'd hope they're available later (if it makes a difference to the gameplay, I suppose).
