They have 15mm Germans and Americans, too. Dreamforge is currently selling them for about $10 for 80(?) minis.

I really wish I brought the Skeletons when WGF first release them.

They were Just the right miniature I'm after for a project I'm starting.

From what I have heard they are re-tooling the moulds and preparing to do some new batches.

When and where did you get this information?

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Since the molds are the largest expense, and they were already payed for, why would you retool them?

I had such high hopes for Wargames Factory, and I regret not snatching up more of their models when I had the chance.

I emailed warlord about the skellies since I love them also for my own projects. Best plastic skellies on the market. They said they were holding onto releaseing them for a future project/game/something. They were a bit vague on details to say the least.

So it sounds like they will get a box instead of sold by the sprue like the samurai.

I just hope what ever they planed on using them for is sooner rather then latter.

On the topic of the samurai. Anyone want to point me to wear boxes of them are still floating around?

I would welcome a new realease of the retooled Skeeltons, too. In terms of proportions they are better than any other miniature or the market right now. I still have some of my box left, using them sparingly for conversions and base decorations.

I hope they are also slightly less fragile if they are rereleased in some point. It was mostly the leg/hip and leg/foot joint that was a bit fragile. Still, I accept this for superior looks.

I really don't see what would be the point of retooling the sprues? It's not like there's anything wrong with the layout.
I guess, if they'd really, really had a problem with the sprues still saying "Wargames factory", since that's engraved on at least some of the sprues?

But if that were the case they shouldn't organize sprues under the name "Wargames factory" on their homepage would they?

Samurai/Ashigaru/Orcs and Saxons are available for sale on separate sprues under the wargame factory label:

The only reasonable explanation I see is that the WGF molds simply aren't prioritized high enough for Warlord to give them time in the plastic injection machines yet, and they're using their plastic capabilities (or those of sub-contactors) to churn out their own sprues at the moment.

Whenever they have production capabilities to spare, they'll hopefully make some of the WGF plastics.

excepting that those loose sprues are double the price or more of the equiv WGF boxes if you bought them in the exact same quantities.

That's true but I don't see what it has to do with what I posted.
