It may depend on how well the plastics are designed: will they have the same level of detail as the resin, especially on the front leg plates? And what kind of poses will they come in?
Frankly, though, I need to see more than one fuzzy picture of a WD cover before making much in the way of judgement.

I was literally pricing Tartaros Termies and MkIIIs out on FW last night. Very glad not to have to go thru with that!

There is no "Mother of God" gif big enough to express my feelings. This is an Outside Context Problem for my bank account. When archaeologists find my mancave, they are going to wonder why the paintings suddenly stop with the arrival of the red-and-gold strangers.

I was wondering if that was Bjorn as well. Either way, cool stuff! Wondering if the 40k end times will usher in era where the custode are relevant again later, which would bridge these models to the 40k side..

Neat. Might be my first GW purchase in years. I like Custodes, I like 1kSons, and Sisters of Silence might make for decent Inquisitors/Inquisitorial Retinues... and the Box Sets tend to be relatively "good" deals these days (insofar as GW products are concerned).

Hmm. I guess we'll see when it's released.

As a big fan of the Sisters of Battle, this feels like cruel joke.

On the plus side, maybe there will be Sisters of Silence.

Looking at the picture again, the models in the very top of the pic look... off... to me. They're wearing grey armor but it doesn't really look like a SM to me. Maybe it's just a weird pose?

Wonder if this will use B@C rules engine or maybe DWOK or if it'll be it's own rule set.

Those are definitely sisters of silence in the top left. Look at the base sizes... There are 5 custodes on what appears to be 40 mm bases. The maybe-Bjorn in front is definitely on a smaller base than them, and following the SM trend, that's 32 mm. Now, look at the grey models in the top left. Their base is clearly smaller than Bjorns (and also the Thousand Son to the right of the custodes). There is no chance at all that those are SMs on 25 mm bases again.

I'm confused. If it is the Burning of Prospero, shouldn't it be Space Wolves instead of Legio Custodes? I thought the Space Wolves attacked Prospero and the Custodes were just the Emperor's elite Praetorian guard who never left the palace.

In the fluff, the Space Wolves formed the main force, but they were supplemented by Custodes and Sisters

I have to laugh that we're getting Sisters of Silence before Sisters of Battle.

Well, now I feel stupid for buying an army's worth of Mk3 marines from FW...

GW certainly seem to be moving towards a "give people what they actually want" approach lately, what with Mechanicus, DW, GSC, monthly WD, freebies, Specialist Games, timeline moving forward - these are all things that hold very niche appeal for new players but old grognards like me have been asking for for decades.

Interesting to see where this goes, I'll be picking up the WDs with freebies, not sure after that

No. The owner was me. I have a copy in advance but I can't release details as its an industry thing. The photo was taken without permission from an internal private chat. I am working on finding out which of the 4 people with access leaked it.

I appreciate Manchu's help in removing it from here though.

Basic tactical sprue, SW tactical sprue, BA tactical sprue, 2 (?) Tactical sprues from BaC and 2 tactical sprues from Prosperous?

Before the recent tau box does anyone remember what the most recent non-marine army to get a troop box was? Was it Dark Eldar in fifth Ed?

Space Wolves, Thousand Sons, 2 Characters, Custodes and Sisters of Silence. That's a LOT to cram into a single box.

Well to be fair mate, it's the Internet. It's out there, and 4Chan has it. It's never going away.

@ the_scotsman: There's only 1 style of tactical sprue in BaC. I'd assume Prospero will follow, especially as it's going to have Custodes and Sisters of Silence on top of Bjorn/Ahriman, Tartaros & MkIII. That as it is is already more variety than BaC.

And the most recent non-marine/non-Tau troop would be the Eldar Jetbikes.

Anyone else have a pic? I didn't get to see it :(
