Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

The biggest reason that I rarely vote on images is that I rarely access the gallery. Most of my browsing time on Dakka is the forums, and I don't touch the gallery as the images embedded into the threads are enough.

If the voting could be integrated into the threads then I would be far more inclined to vote.

Personally, I have the Dakka forums bookmarked instead of the frontpage, so I don't encounter the gallery often.

Same. I Dakka at work, so whilst I can get away with a forum, I can't really look at galleries.

To be honest I forget there is a gallery on here 99% of the time, and I've even got a handful of pictures up (I was aiming at some point to photograph my completed collection and upload, just to have a record of what I actually own).

I never cast any votes because I never look in the gallery: I'm here for the forum.

I tried to vote on everyone who posted but keep getting distracted.

I usually disable voting on all my WiP stuff, because yeah, makes no sense for people to be voting on things that aren't finished yet.

Also, for the gallery, if people leave a comment on a specific picture, is there a way to notify them if someone replies to their comment?

I do not bother voting In the gallery anymore, since the painting and showcase section have become an advertisement to companies. I use to go to the gallery to view best of the best show pieces and company works. Now like I said it seems pointless, just go to the showcase forum all they need to do is disable chat and it is the gallery for free-lance painters.

I need to go to work every day.

Tag all the company entries as Commission or something. Skip straight past them after that.

I only browse Dakka on my phone and the voting is a bit clumsy on that. When I used my computer more the turbo voter was good and I went through quote a bit. Main annoyances were people putting up 20 pictures of the same model (use a montage or two) or models that are unfinished yet haven't had voting disabled.
