He Guy's,
I already own 2 initiation sets and with the nice ±70% in the Rackham shop I really want to build out my forces, but I kinda have the feeling that AT-43 doesnt have a future and is a "Dead Game"......
There are no updates or new miniatures on the net, no promotions of the game or expansions....
So im kinda worried that I spend a lot of money on a game that has no future....
Can someone tell me anything about the games future????
Yes I did read all the topics already posted on Dakk about the future but it confusses me, I just need a simpel answer.
Does the game have a future with new models and rules and campaigns blablablablabla

This is as official as it can get:
AT-43 Rulebook Version 2 is in the oven, expected to be released by the end of this year.
Personal view:
I dont think AT-43 is dead but rather in re-enginering, 6 races are out and supposedly a 7th is coming soon. while the website is quite quiet, it is certainly not dead, as there is a place with "news" from the studio people.
Keep ypur things and wait after the Version 2 release, I hope it will inject life into the system one more time.

Dunno if you're anywhere near Utrecht, but there's a store called Labyrinth there that's picking up on AT-43 and holding a few games every Saturday. Don't try the other stores though, they are kinda fed up with Rackham.

COMING SOON TO CHANNEL7 - The insidious masterminds of HADES are constantly threatening the free nations of the world through acts of terror and theft of top secret equipment. The scheming Elliot Fontaine is trying to dominate the world market with his Fontaine Industries products. The evil Red Empire is encroaching upon the world with its armies of misguided minions. The Republic of Alruco is a hotbed of intrigue and murder. Finally.. the mysterious island Kingdom of Korvosa are getting more and more bold with their science projects.
The forces of good are preparing their agencies, amongst them the British CROWN and American OMEGA, to combat these evil factions and ensure that freedom will prevail once more! |

Rackham started to listen, a 2nd edition is essential for AT-43 to move forward. I just hope the fanbois dont keep Rackham from doing major revision work.
I too am interested in the 70% off, but mainly for Confrontation, the AT-43 stuff is rather thin at the moment.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
I am increasingly of the opinion GW likes to cover or fill everything with empty skulls as a subconscious way of saying; "look, no brains here". |

I've heard that Rackham has been getting on people's nerves, but not specifically why. I hope that V2 takes off, the minis I have seen for AT-43 looked pretty interesting.
