OK, i finally decided to start a modeling blog to keep myself in line, this is just my standard models nothing fancy, the main foucus will be SM and imperial gaurd with some LOTR and nids and if I get any whacky ideas I'll voice them here so I don't forget.

anyway this is what I already have done

and to do at the minute is
- finish the camo on the leman russ
- Assemble, prime and paint my 20 gaurdsmen & deathcorps commisar
- AP&P my command squad
- A&P my vangaurd veterans
- AP&P my stormtroopers
- Repair my predator (both sponsons are broken)
- Repair my drednought (fell off the stool just after taking the photo)

If you want any more pictures of anything featured in my opening post just ask

BTW: the stools are where i do my modeling, they sit infront of my mancave's sofa so I can be comfy and do stuff

very purple. i cant really tell on the individual models, but i like the vehicles and drop pods alot. they look pretty sweet

Finished the Vangaurd Vetrans,

I forund the forgeworld kit really easy to work with, though I was bummed that only the sergent has a power weapon, I have none left in my bitzbox now

I find the purple & blue strange for non-Chaos Space Marines, but well done.
Any fluff reason why they are Purple & Blue? Or do you just like those colors? lol

just like the colors, although they mainly operate at night with lightning fast strikes fluffwise (they're alpha legion crossed with salamanders and dark angels) so it sort of works

They're from my own chapter called the "Shadow Dragons", the fluff is in the process of being finalised and will probably get posted in this thread later

I can see what ytour getting at but NO bad remos, my marines are 100% loyal to the emporer

anyway a bit of a break from marines today as I painted up one side of my Leman russ in a test camo and my Inqusitor's henchmen, three members of the Cyprian Stormtrooper corps

another thing, at the start I mentioned this thread would be a dumping ground for crazy ideas so

its a forge world model, picked it up at games day last year along with the red scorpions, only just got round to painting them, just in time for this years games day

Not updated in awhile, but I just got back from gamesday and now have a load of stuff to paint, so I should be back up and running in a coulple of days if I managed to gedt my FW washed.
